The listing identifies version 2.0.0 and says it was submitted and updated on November 5, 2024. It does not specify a supported storefront or provide a compatibility matrix for current PC game builds.
How to get it—and what to check before installing
The mod is listed for PC. A Nexus Mods page for an RDR1 first-person camera installation tutorial was added November 5, 2024. The existence of that tutorial listing does not establish that its installation path is compatible with every current version of the game.

Is first person an official Rockstar feature?
No official first-person mode for Red Dead Redemption is documented in the cited sources. Rockstar’s title update notes, last updated March 3, 2026, list fixes and improvements rather than announcing this camera feature. The first-person option described here comes from a community mod, not a Rockstar update.

Which version of Red Dead Redemption can use the mod?
The mod listing is categorized for PC, and the evidence available does not establish a comparable first-person mod for console editions. The Steam listing identifies the PC edition as released October 29, 2024, and says it includes both Red Dead Redemption and Undead Nightmare. Its published minimum requirements are Windows 10 64-bit, 8 GB RAM, a GeForce GTX 960 or Radeon R7 360, and 12 GB of storage. Those are the game listing’s minimums, not requirements published for the mod.
