Check the current trial screen and its challenge text before committing to an entry. The activity is version-sensitive: official notes document changes to Taiping Mausoleum Trials in July 2026 and a Hexi Trial reward-claim fix in September 2026.
What is confirmed about Path Trials
Path Trials are associated with the game’s Paths. The precise current entry requirements, attempt limits, reset schedule and reward quantities are not established by the official sources cited here, so older guides should not be treated as authoritative for the current client.

In its July 9, 2026 patch notes, Where Winds Meet said it reduced the difficulty of Taiping Mausoleum Trial floors 10–12 across all Paths. That is a specific change to those floors, not evidence that every trial or difficulty tier was adjusted.
The official news archive lists Version 2.2 patch notes dated September 16, 2026, confirming that the game continued to receive updates after the July trial change. Check the official news archive for newer patch information that may affect your client.

How to check your progress and rewards in-game
Exact menu navigation and reward milestones are not verified here, so use the current client rather than relying on a fixed path through menus that may have changed. Open the Path Trials activity, inspect the available trial and its challenge text, then review the displayed reward and claim status before entry.
- Read the listed objective and any Path or class condition before starting.
- Check the trial screen for current entry availability, remaining attempts, and reset information; these details are not confirmed by the official materials cited here.
- Review the reward display and claim state after a clear. Do not assume that first-clear, repeat-clear or limited-time rewards are separate unless the client shows that distinction.
What older guides can—and cannot—tell you
A December 2025 creator guide highlighted attempt limits, first-clear rewards, special class conditions, switching Paths and Path Challenges. Those topics can help you know what to inspect, but the guide is historical and does not establish that its mechanics still apply. Confirm all conditions and reward rules in the current trial screen.

If a trial reward appears to be missing
First check whether the reward has already been claimed or whether the activity screen still shows an available claim. Official patch notes dated September 5, 2026, reported a fix for an issue that prevented some players from obtaining the Hexi Trial regional reward. That note records a past fix; it does not establish that the issue remains active. If the reward is still unavailable, check current official patch guidance and the in-game claim state.
