When did PAC-MAN WORLD 2 Re-PAC come out?
The game was announced on July 31, 2025, and released on September 26, 2025. Bandai Namco’s launch notice confirms it is available now; the date is no longer a planned release.
What is PAC-MAN WORLD 2 Re-PAC?
It is a remake of the 2002 3D platformer PAC-MAN WORLD 2. The adventure takes Pac-Man through six worlds in PAC-LAND as he faces the Ghosts and their boss, Spooky. The publisher describes the journey as inspired by the original game.
The remake updates the visuals and gameplay, adds new and expanded levels, and gives the main characters full voiceover. Its moves and activities include the Super Butt Bounce, Flip Kick, ice skating, snorkeling, and piloting the Pac-Marine. Players can also find new collectibles and customize Pac-Man.

Which platforms is it available on?
Bandai Namco’s launch notice lists these platforms:
- PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4
- Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One
- Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2
- PC via Steam
Availability and editions can differ by region, so check the local storefront for current details. Nintendo’s US listing gives September 26, 2025 as the Switch release date and says Switch 2 compatibility is supported, with behavior consistent with Switch. It lists TV, tabletop, and handheld play modes.

Does PAC-MAN WORLD 2 Re-PAC have co-op?
Yes. The game includes two-player couch co-op. Bandai Namco described it as the first co-op mode in the PAC-MAN WORLD series, saying it lets players experience the journey across PAC-LAND together.
Nintendo’s US listing specifies one to two players on a single Switch system. It lists the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller as supported; it does not say that controller is required.

What else is included?
The Village arcade lets players try three classic games: PAC-MAN, PAC-ATTACK, and PACMANIA. There is also a Time Trial mode with global leaderboards.
Bandai Namco later announced Sonic collaboration content: a Green Hill-inspired stage called “Rolling Around on the Island,” with loop-de-loops, springs, dash rings, Moto Bugs, and Buzz Bombers, plus Sonic-themed costumes for Pac-Man. Bandai Namco’s current game page lists the collaboration content in the Digital Deluxe Edition, and Nintendo’s listing also shows the Sonic DLC. Check the storefront for your platform and region to confirm what an edition currently includes.
