Level 7 of Apeirophobia, titled “The End?” in the community walkthrough, is a library puzzle level. To finish it, count six colored gems and use the in-game color legend to build the first code, enter that code at the computer, then solve a later shelf-room keypad puzzle and activate the final computer. The walkthrough source lists no entities in this level, but its instructions are community-maintained and may change with game updates.
What to do in Level 7
The Level 7 guide describes a library map where the objective is to solve the puzzles and reach the exit. It lists no entities, so the route described is focused on observation, codes, and navigation rather than avoiding a monster. These details come from the community-maintained Apeirophobia Wiki’s Level 7 guide, which reports an update date of April 28, 2026.
There are two code stages: first, derive a code from the colored gems and enter it at a computer; later, use candidate codes from a book at a keypad in the shelves room. A historical walkthrough published by YisusEcu on August 23, 2022 also covers counting gems, deciphering a code, opening doors, and reaching the exit, but follow the current game’s terminal instructions if they differ.
How to find the six gems and make the first computer code
Count each gem color
The guide says to look for six gems on lower shelves. Record how many gems of each color you find. Use a flashlight if the colors are difficult to distinguish, and check the in-game legend rather than relying on a memorized code: your code depends on the counts in your run.

Apply the color values in order
The guide’s color values establish the order in which to write the gem counts:

For every color that appears, write its quantity first and its value second. Then concatenate those two-character fragments in ascending value order, omitting colors that are absent. For example, the puzzle reference’s example of three red gems and one yellow gem gives “31” for red and “15” for yellow, producing “3115.” The community puzzle reference describes the same quantity-plus-value approach; the game’s current terminal remains the best guide if an update changes the cipher.

Enter the code and continue
Enter the result at the first computer. After it accepts the code, note the code displayed there and use that code at the keypad. The Level 7 guide then describes a route through a small maze or hallway and vents to the next puzzle area. A separate puzzle-reference description mentions a “rightmost four characters” keypad rule; treat that as source-specific guidance rather than a universal step, and use the code and instructions shown in your current game.
How to finish Level 7 and open the exit
Try the shelf-room keypad codes
In the shelves room, consult the book for possible codes and try those candidates at the keypad. The guide presents this as a trial process, not as a single fixed code that applies to every player. If you are playing with others, divide the candidate attempts so teammates do not repeat the same guesses; this can save time, but it is not required.

Activate the final computer
Once you reach the second computer, type y and confirm to open the exit, according to the computer reference and the Level 7 route. If the prompt or confirmation control differs in your game, follow the on-screen instruction.
Solo or with a group?
The community guide characterizes Level 7 as easy in solo, duo, or trio play, while also noting that the puzzles can take a long time. Those are the wiki’s assessments, not measured difficulty statistics. Solo players can keep their own count and track tested keypad candidates; a group can divide those attempts to reduce duplication.
