Their effects and sources vary: you may find some around the map, buy them from a traveling merchant, or earn or craft others. This guide is a September 2025 snapshot; later-updated community guides include items and routes that may have been added since then. Check each potion’s current in-game description before using it.
What potions do
Most potions fall into a few practical groups. Luck potions raise the displayed luck modifier for a limited time; speed potions affect roll speed; mixed potions combine effects or trade one stat against another. Some items instead apply to a single roll, while unusual potions can produce randomized beneficial or harmful effects.
A displayed luck percentage is a game mechanic, not a promise that a particular aura will appear. The result of a roll is not guaranteed by using a potion, even when its listed modifier is very large.
Examples from the September 2025 guide
The figures below are those listed by TechWiser in its guide, which was updated April 14, 2026. That date is later than the September 2025 snapshot named in the title, so treat the values as source- and version-specific examples, not a definitive inventory of what was available in September 2025. Confirm current effects and availability in game.

TechWiser’s list also includes longer L/XL versions of short luck and speed potions. Its figures should not be combined with values from other versions of the game: the community-maintained Sol’s RNG Wiki items inventory reports different values for some entries.
How to get potions
There is no single way to obtain every potion. The routes described across the reviewed guides and community inventory include:

- Traveling merchants: The TechWiser guide lists merchant purchases for examples including Lucky and Speed Potions.
- Crafting: Some upgraded potions use lower-tier potions as ingredients. TechWiser describes Fortune recipes using Lucky Potions and Haste recipes using Lucky and Speed Potions; check the in-game recipe for exact quantities and availability.
- Daily quests and boards: The TechWiser guide lists daily quests as a route for Fortune and Haste potions. Community records also describe quest and progression rewards.
- Achievements, biomes, and bosses: The community-maintained wiki records achievement and DREAMSPACE routes for Heavenly Potions, along with biome- and boss-related drops for some items. Availability can change with patches.
- Events and progression systems: The community inventory includes event-specific and progression-linked potions. An event route in a current inventory does not mean the event is active or that the item was available in September 2025.
These are in-game items and routes; no physical product is needed to obtain or use them.
Which potion should you use before rolling?
There is no universal best potion. Choose based on what you want to change and the item’s current description:

- Want a luck boost across several rolls? Look for a luck potion whose duration fits your session.
- Want rolls to happen faster? A roll-speed potion is aimed at that goal, rather than directly raising the listed luck modifier.
- Planning one specific roll? A single-roll potion is designed for one attempt. Save scarce items for an attempt you have chosen to make, but do not treat the displayed luck value as a guarantee.
- Considering an unusual potion? Read its effect first; Strange Potions may produce a randomized benefit or penalty.
For a long-duration or rare item, check the active-effect display and the item description before committing it. The reviewed sources do not establish one stable ranking that applies across versions and player goals.
Do potions stack?
Do not assume that different levels in the same potion family will coexist. TechWiser says Haste and Speed can be used together, but Haste I and Haste II do not stack as separate buffs. The community wiki says different potion types can combine, while same-type potions cannot stack with other levels; it also makes a broader claim that potions can stack to extend duration. These accounts do not fully resolve how every combination behaves in every version.

Before using a rare potion alongside another effect, check the game’s active-effect display and confirm the behavior in the current patch. In particular, do not rely on a duration-extension rule unless the game shows that the effect was extended.

The community-maintained inventory includes Heavenly and Oblivion Potions as next-roll items, as well as event-era and other specialized potions. It describes Oblivion as negating buffs other than VIP/VIP+ final multipliers. Those details come from a current community inventory rather than an official developer source and are not proof that each item or rule belonged to the September 2025 game.

A later all-potions guide titled for September 2025 was published by Position is Everything on May 19, 2026. Its publication date, like the April 14, 2026 update date on TechWiser’s guide, means later listings should be treated as retrospective references, not a complete historical record. After an update, the in-game item text is the best immediate check for the effect you are about to use.
