The door often called the “Gold Arm Door” is identified in current item documentation as the Golden Door. To open it, find the Ancient Armor and upgrade it with an Armor Plater. Simply wearing the unupgraded armor—the advice in many early-access guides—is not the current listed requirement.
Where is the Gold Arm Door?
The Golden Door is inside the Luxury facility. Its precise current GPS coordinates and a fully verified route from the Ancient Armor’s current location are not established in the available documentation.
The commonly repeated 2023 directions describe an earlier route: travel to the far side of the mountain range, enter a facility near a green GPS marker by a large lake, and proceed through it to a lounge where a construction worker is hanging. From there, pass through the bathroom opening into a cave and continue to the door. Treat those directions as legacy guidance, not a confirmed current route. The current Ancient Armor entry instead places the armor in a spacecraft near the end of the Golden Armor cave, and does not reconcile that location with the older facility directions.
How to open the Golden Door
- Find the Ancient Armor. Current item documentation places it in a spacecraft near the end of the Golden Armor cave. The armor was called Gold Armor or Golden Armor before the game’s v1.0 release.
- Upgrade it with an Armor Plater. The current listed requirement is upgraded Ancient Armor; possessing the unupgraded armor alone is not enough.
- Reach the Golden Door inside Luxury. The current documentation identifies the door’s location as Luxury but does not give a verified coordinate or a complete route linking it to the armor’s current cave location.
Why older guides give different instructions
Endnight Games released version 1.0 on February 22, 2024, and the release renamed Gold Armor to Ancient Armor. Earlier guides were written for the pre-1.0 progression and may say to wear Golden Armor and interact with the door. That advice does not match the current item documentation’s Armor Plater upgrade requirement.
