Hints for Strands #105
The theme points to things that come in a bag. If you want a nudge without revealing the answers, try these clue words from the puzzle guide: MINE, CHEAT, DOPE, PUNCH, MATCH, and LONE. The spangram hint is “Brewing up.”
For a placement hint, the dated TechRadar guide says the spangram begins on the left side of row four and ends on the right side of row five. TechRadar’s June 16 guide also gives the theme phrase, clue words, and spangram hint.
Spoiler: June 16 Strands answers
The six theme words are tea varieties: CHAI, MATCHA, JASMINE, CHAMOMILE, OOLONG, and GUNPOWDER. The spangram is TEATIME, connecting the answers to the theme, “It’s in the bag.”

Strands is a themed word-search-style game.
