Sword of Darkness most commonly refers here to Kinley MacGregor’s Lords of Avalon story, available as a prose novel and as a Marvel comic collection. The two formats share the same title and story world, but have different ISBNs and publication details. A separate Sword of Darkness by Keri Arthur is book two in her Relic Hunters series.
What is Kinley MacGregor’s Sword of Darkness about?
Set in a medieval Camelot ruled by Lord Kerrigan, the story follows Seren, a peasant and seamstress who is kidnapped and drawn into the conflict between light and darkness. Its central question is whether Kerrigan is the monster others believe him to be or could become a savior. A catalog synopsis also describes Kerrigan’s pursuit of Arthur’s Round Table and the way Seren’s courage and honesty unsettle him. These are elements of the novel’s fictional premise, not claims about historical Arthurian legend. Kinley MacGregor’s official book page
Kinley MacGregor is a pen name of Sherrilyn Kenyon. The story belongs to the Lords of Avalon series, which is the clearest identifier to use when distinguishing it from other books with the same title.
