It was not a retail Xbox accessory or a standard RC-car bundle: a promotional one-off paired a functional RC replica of Cadillac’s No. 1 V-Series.R race car with a custom 1TB Xbox Series S inside. The creation was unveiled for the launch of Forza Motorsport in 2023.
What was inside the RC Cadillac?
SlashGear reported on October 11, 2023, that the Forza developers and New Bright collaborated on a functional RC 2023 Cadillac No. 1 V-Series.R carrying a custom 1TB Xbox Series S. The car reportedly had all-wheel drive and lights, and its clamshell body opened to reveal the console. SlashGear’s October 11, 2023 report described the RC Cadillac’s stated value as $200.
Was it available to buy?
No. The reported opportunity was a promotional giveaway, not a mass-market product launch. SlashGear said the contest ran from October 11 through October 30, 2023, so that entry window has ended. The report characterized the vehicle as a one-off unlikely to be mass-produced; it does not establish a current listing for the exact car.
Does the console price refer to the whole car?
No. SlashGear separately reported that the Xbox Series S Carbon Black 1TB console cost $349.99 at the time of its October 2023 article. That was the console’s then-reported price, not the price of the RC Cadillac, and it should not be treated as a current price. The console and bespoke vehicle were distinct parts of the story.
