How to play NYT Strands
Strands is a word-search game played on a six-by-eight letter grid. Theme words relate to the day’s clue, and the spangram describes the theme while stretching between two opposite edges. Words can bend in any direction; select letters by dragging or tapping, then double-tap the final letter to submit. Theme words turn blue and the spangram turns yellow, according to The Word Finder’s description of the game.
Finding three non-theme words earns a hint, which reveals letters in a theme word without giving away its complete answer. Play on NYT Games.
