For an E0 Acheron, start with two other Nihility characters and a sustain: debuffs help charge her Ultimate, while the two Nihility teammates activate the full damage bonus from her “The Abyss” trace. A strong baseline is Along the Passing Shore, four-piece Pioneer Diver of Dead Waters, and two-piece Izumo Gensei and Takama Divine Realm. Treat those as a starting point, not a requirement to replace good gear or chase a signature Light Cone.
How Acheron’s build works
Acheron is a Lightning character on the Nihility path. Her Ultimate depends on accumulating Slashed Dream, and debuffs applied by Acheron and her allies help generate that resource. This makes debuff frequency a practical build consideration alongside conventional damage stats.
Her major trace, “The Abyss,” also ties team composition to damage: at E0, two other Nihility teammates are generally needed for its full effect. At E2, the requirement drops by one, opening room for a non-Nihility support without giving up that full trace bonus. E2 also gives Acheron a Slashed Dream point at the start of her turn.
Light Cones: choose for debuffs and account fit
Along the Passing Shore is the leading recommendation in Prydwen’s guide, updated 31 May 2026. Its effect applies an additional debuff, allowing an extra Slashed Dream point when Acheron uses her Skill, and boosts her Ultimate damage. The guide does not consider the signature necessary for strong performance.

There is no single established best alternative for every account. Good Night and Sleep Well and Boundless Choreo are four-star options listed by Prydwen; their value depends on superimposition and whether the team can apply debuffs or Slow/DEF reduction. StarPatch’s 17 September 2026 page also lists Fall of the Aeon and Good Night and Sleep Well, and describes Fall of the Aeon as a free weekly boss Light Cone. The guides’ option lists differ, so compare the cones you actually own and the debuffs your lineup can maintain.
- Favor Along the Passing Shore if you have it and want its extra debuff and Ultimate damage boost.
- Compare your alternatives by superimposition, available debuffs, and the rest of the team rather than assuming one non-signature cone is always best.
Relics and planar ornaments
Recommended sets
Prydwen ranks four-piece Pioneer Diver of Dead Waters first, citing its synergy with debuffs. Its recommended planar set is two-piece Izumo Gensei and Takama Divine Realm. The guide lists four-piece Scholar Lost in Erudition as an alternative and names Inert Salsotto and other attack-focused planar options as alternatives.
StarPatch also recommends Pioneer Diver, but its alternatives differ. Set rankings are a guide, not a reason to discard useful pieces: a set with strong CRIT and ATK substats can be a more practical choice than refarming for a theoretical ranking difference. These guides do not provide account-specific calculations.

Main stats and substats
The main-stat recommendations are not fully aligned. Prydwen recommends a CRIT Rate body, ATK% feet, ATK% sphere, and ATK% link rope; it presents Speed feet as an option for a deliberate 134+ SPD plan. StarPatch instead recommends a Lightning DMG sphere. Compare the actual sphere and its substats rather than treating either recommendation as universal.

Prydwen gives endgame reference targets of 80–90%+ CRIT Rate, 160–180%+ CRIT DMG, 2,900–3,200+ ATK, and either 101 or 134+ SPD. These are guide targets, not minimum requirements for ordinary play.
- ATK-boots plan: use ATK% feet and prioritize CRIT Rate, CRIT DMG, and ATK% substats. This is the guide’s baseline main-stat setup.
- Speed plan: pursue a deliberate 134+ SPD breakpoint with Speed feet, considering turn order and team synergy rather than adding Speed without a plan.
StarPatch orders substats as CRIT Rate > CRIT DMG > ATK% > SPD, while Prydwen advises prioritizing a Speed breakpoint only if using that approach. The right comparison is the finished piece and complete build, not an isolated stat threshold.

Team compositions by Eidolon and roster
At E0, build around two other Nihility teammates and a sustain. This both supports the full “The Abyss” trace effect and supplies debuffs to help charge Acheron’s Ultimate. The following are team archetypes, not a universal ranking.
Premium debuff team
Acheron + Jiaoqiu + another suitable Nihility support + sustain. Prydwen singles out Jiaoqiu as a premium amplifier and stack generator, including debuffs during enemy actions and Ultimate damage amplification. Fill the other Nihility slot with a character suited to your roster and encounter.
Defense reduction or weakness utility
Acheron + Pela or Silver Wolf + another Nihility option + sustain. Pela brings defense reduction; Silver Wolf offers weakness utility. Choose according to the matchup, your available debuffing Light Cones, and which other Nihility characters you own.

E2 flexible team
Acheron + one Nihility teammate + a Harmony support such as Sparkle or Sunday + sustain. Prydwen describes the Harmony substitution as notable at E2, when one other Nihility ally is enough for the full “The Abyss” effect. At E0, replacing a Nihility slot with Harmony means giving up that full trace bonus, so weigh the trade-off rather than carrying the E2 lineup over unchanged.
StarPatch lists examples including Acheron/Pela/Silver Wolf/Huohuo, Acheron/Kafka/Black Swan/Huohuo, and Acheron/Pela/Guinaifen/Natasha. These are possibilities, not fixed prescriptions: account for trace activation, debuff supply, sustain needs, and the current encounter when choosing among them.

Prydwen’s trace priority is Ultimate > Skill = Talent > Basic Attack. For major traces, it recommends The Abyss (A4) > Thunder Core (A6) > Red Oni (A2).

E2 changes team-building flexibility by reducing by one the number of other Nihility teammates needed for the full “The Abyss” effect and granting a Slashed Dream point at the start of Acheron’s turn. That can make a Harmony slot a relevant option. It is a roster flexibility consideration, not a prerequisite for story progression.
Quick account-aware build path
- Check Eidolon level. At E0, plan for two other Nihility teammates; at E2, one can be enough for the full “The Abyss” effect.
- Build around the team’s debuffs. Compare Light Cones and teammates by how reliably they apply debuffs that help Acheron gain Slashed Dream.
- Use the signature if available, not as a gate. Otherwise compare owned alternatives by their effects, superimposition, and team compatibility.
- Start with Pioneer Diver and Izumo if the pieces are good. Keep strong existing CRIT/ATK gear in consideration rather than refarming solely to match a set ranking.
- Choose a coherent speed plan. Use ATK feet for the baseline or pursue a deliberate breakpoint with Speed feet and team turn order in mind.
- Judge the finished build in its actual mode. A guide’s build targets and mode figures are not guarantees of damage or performance in every account or encounter.
The recommendations above draw on community build guides, not official developer statements or independently validated performance studies. Prydwen’s detailed guide was updated 31 May 2026; StarPatch’s shorter build page was updated 17 September 2026. Their sphere recommendations differ, so treat that choice as gear-dependent rather than settled consensus.
