For the version 4.6 guide advice available as of September 26, 2026, build Feixiao around I Venture Forth to Hunt, The Wind-Soaring Valorous, and Duran, Dynasty of Running Wolves. The featured main-carry team is Feixiao / Robin / Topaz & Numby / Aventurine. These are guide recommendations, not a universal best setup: your roster, encounter, and team role can change the right choices.
What Feixiao needs from a build
Feixiao is a five-star Wind character on the Hunt path, typically built as a main damage dealer. Her follow-up attacks and Ultimate are central to her damage pattern. Attacks by allies help charge Flying Aureus, so teammates who attack frequently—especially those with follow-up attacks—can support her rotation as well as contribute their own damage. Her Ultimate is a major single-target attack.
The choices below follow HSR-Build’s version 4.6 recommendations, updated September 26, 2026. HSR-Build says its gear rankings and stat priorities draw on Prydwen’s measured build data and are rephrased; its Light Cone damage ratios depend on the superimposition and team specified for each comparison. See the version 4.6 Feixiao guide.
Best Light Cones for Feixiao
Top choice: I Venture Forth to Hunt
The current guide ranks I Venture Forth to Hunt first. It provides CRIT Rate and a stackable Ultimate DEF-ignore effect, which suits Feixiao’s Ultimate-centered damage. HSR-Build’s displayed S1 relative-damage ratio is 121.84% against the lowest listed option in its comparison. That is a scenario-dependent relative ratio, not a prediction of the damage your Feixiao will deal.
Other options
| Light Cone | Displayed relative damage | How to read the comparison |
|---|---|---|
| Baptism of Pure Thought | 115.07% at S1 | HSR-Build’s 2026 comparison; applies to the team and superimposition stated for its row. |
| Worrisome, Blissful | 106.62% at S1 | HSR-Build’s 2026 comparison; applies to the team and superimposition stated for its row. |
| Swordplay | 100.23% at S5 | HSR-Build’s 2026 comparison; applies to the team and superimposition stated for its row. |
| Cruising in the Stellar Sea | 100% at S5 | HSR-Build’s 2026 comparison; Icy Veins identifies it as available from Herta’s Store. |
These figures are relative ratios against the lowest option listed in HSR-Build’s comparison, not absolute damage results. They are specific to the superimposition and team listed for each row, so use them as a guide to that comparison rather than a guarantee that one Cone will outperform another on every account. Icy Veins’ Feixiao build guide also describes the signature Cone’s CRIT Rate and stackable Ultimate DEF-ignore effect.

The Wind-Soaring Valorous is HSR-Build’s recommended Relic set. It lists The Ashblazing Grand Duke as another option.

Main stats and substat priorities
| Slot | Recommended main stats |
|---|---|
| Body | CRIT Rate or CRIT DMG |
| Feet | ATK% or Speed |
| Sphere | Wind DMG or ATK% |
| Rope | ATK% |
Prioritize CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG, while tuning Speed to the needs of your team and mode. Prydwen notes that CRIT Rate can be especially valuable given Feixiao’s CRIT DMG bonus and access to team buffs. Speed can be useful in some teams and modes, but it is not a mandatory pass/fail threshold. Prydwen’s Feixiao guide discusses these stat considerations.

AllThings. How gives one guide’s example targets: 70–80% or more CRIT Rate, 140% or more CRIT DMG, at least 134 SPD, and 2,900 or more ATK out of combat. Treat those as that guide’s targets—not official requirements or universal breakpoints. Read AllThings. How’s Feixiao build guide.

Featured main-carry team
Feixiao / Robin / Topaz & Numby / Aventurine is the featured version 4.6 lineup. It places Feixiao in the main-carry role and surrounds her with allies whose attacks and follow-up attacks fit her charge-generation pattern. A version 3.4 team guide also recommends this group, but its older advice should not be treated as more current than the version 4.6 guide. HSR Guide’s Feixiao team article.

- Design:from Honkai: Star Rail characters.
- Size:about 5.91inches high
- Features: high gloss surface, smooth and flat, colorful, three-dimensional, not easy to fade.

How to choose a team for your account
- Decide Feixiao’s role: The featured lineup centers her as the main carry. A dual-carry arrangement changes how much of the team’s damage and support is dedicated to her.
- Consider allied attack frequency: Frequent ally attacks and follow-ups support Flying Aureus charge generation, which is an important reason the featured team works well with her kit.
- Account for availability: Robin, Topaz & Numby, and Aventurine are the featured partners, but not every account has all three. The sources do not establish a single replacement lineup that is best for every roster.
- Fit the encounter: Choose around the fight and sustain needs rather than assuming the featured group is optimal in every mode.
Alternate version 4.6 team context
HSR-Build also describes a team built around Aventurine as the Waveflair main DPS, with Ashveil or Feixiao as the Hunt carry, Mortenax Blade as an off-turn attacker, and Hyacine as sustain. This is an alternate team context—not the primary Feixiao main-carry lineup above.
