Summer Coins were earned by submitting Summer fruit to the event bin during Grow a Garden’s 2025 Summer Harvest events. The documented Mega Summer Harvest rate was 1 Summer Coin per 1,000 Harvest Points. That event has ended, and a community-maintained wiki currently marks the currency as unobtainable, so this is a historical method—not a confirmed way to earn coins now.
How Summer Coins were earned
During the Summer Harvest events, players contributed Summer fruit to an event bin in the center of the map. The contributions added Harvest Points to a server-wide total. During Mega Summer Harvest, the documented conversion was 1 Summer Coin for every 1,000 Harvest Points. The event guide describes the activity as beginning hourly.
- Grow and harvest Summer fruit.
- During Summer Harvest or Mega Summer Harvest, go to the event bin in the center of the map.
- Submit Summer fruit to contribute to the server’s Harvest Points.
- During Mega Summer Harvest, earn coins at the documented rate of 1 Summer Coin per 1,000 Harvest Points.
The Summer Harvest event page lists the event dates as June 21 through July 5, 2025, and describes hourly fruit submissions that unlocked rewards. Grow a Garden Wiki: Summer Harvest Event
Can you still get Summer Coins?
The documented earning method depended on the limited-time event, which ran in 2025. The current coin entry on the community-maintained Grow a Garden Wiki says Summer Coins are not obtainable. No current earning method is established by the available event guides, so don’t expect to earn them unless a future event brings the currency back and confirms its mechanics in-game. What Summer Coins were used for
Historical guides describe a Summer or Harvest Shop where players could exchange coins for event rewards. Pro Game Guides lists items such as seeds, Mutation Spray, an Oasis Crate, an Oasis Egg, and the Hamster pet. Beebom also reports that Summer Coins were used in some crafting recipes. These are historical uses; current access to the shop, rewards, or recipes is not established.
The guides summarize reward mechanics differently, so the clearest documented earning figure is the conversion rate above. Don’t assume extra reward tiers or current shop availability without confirmation in the live game.
