Is there still a Black Ops 7 countdown?
No live countdown to the original launch is meaningful now. Call of Duty announced on November 14, 2025, that “Black Ops 7 is now live!” (Call of Duty’s launch announcement).
A page widget for the original launch should be removed, frozen at zero, or clearly labeled as an archived countdown. The launch announcement confirms the date has passed; it is not a maintained countdown endpoint.
What were the Black Ops 7 release times?
The official PC launch article said the full title would go live on November 14, 2025, at midnight local time. For Steam and Battle.net, PC Gamer reported the following regional schedule:

These regional clock times were reported by PC Gamer’s November 13, 2025 release-time guide; they specifically describe Steam and Battle.net, not every platform.
Console and Xbox App timing
PC Gamer reported that console versions unlocked at midnight in the player’s local time zone. Its guide also said this local-time schedule applied to the Xbox App on PC. That differs from the listed Steam and Battle.net times, which were staggered across regions.

When did Black Ops 7 preload begin?
Call of Duty’s official PC launch article stated that digital preloading began November 10, 2025, at 9 a.m. PT. The preload included Co-Op Campaign, Multiplayer, and Zombies. Preload availability was separate from the playable launch time: downloading ahead did not change the November 14 release date.

Which platforms and Game Pass plans were announced?
In its August 19, 2025 announcement, Xbox Wire listed Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox on PC, Cloud, Battle.net, and Steam. It also announced day-one availability through Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.
