What is Elden Ring Nightreign?
Bandai Namco and FromSoftware described Nightreign as a standalone co-op action survival game. Bandai Namco’s announcement says FromSoftware developed the game and Bandai Namco published it. The publisher’s official game page describes it as a standalone adventure within the Elden Ring universe. In other words, it belongs to that universe but is presented as its own game, not as an expansion requiring the original game.
Is The Nameless King in Nightreign?
The trailer may prompt viewers to compare a figure with The Nameless King, a character associated with Dark Souls III. That resemblance or recognition is an audience interpretation, not an official identification: the trailer and the reviewed announcement and game-page materials do not name the figure as The Nameless King or confirm that the character has returned to the Elden Ring canon. The official reveal establishes Nightreign and its setting, not that identity.
