Diablo 4’s Season of Witchcraft introduced three highlighted class-specific Uniques: Mantle of Mountain’s Fury for Barbarian, Malefic Crescent for Druid, and Sunstained War-Crozier for Spiritborn. Blizzard’s Season 7 overview named an increased-chance target boss for each: The Beast in Ice, Lord Zir, and Varshan, respectively. These are target farms, not guaranteed drops; Blizzard did not publish drop odds. The locations and item details below reflect the season’s launch-era information, not verified live-game guidance for October 2026.
Which bosses drop the new Season 7 Uniques?
| Unique | Class and slot | Blizzard’s listed target boss | Launch-season effect |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mantle of Mountain’s Fury | Barbarian chest armor | The Beast in Ice — increased chance | Hammer of the Ancients creates a seismic line that deals its damage and slows enemies hit by 60–80% for 4 seconds. Earthquakes the line passes through explode for their total damage and are consumed. |
| Malefic Crescent | Druid amulet | Lord Zir — increased chance | Its power enhances Lupine Ferocity’s Critical Strike damage when you score consecutive Critical Strikes. |
| Sunstained War-Crozier | Spiritborn quarterstaff | Varshan — increased chance | Focus Skills benefit from all their upgrades and increase Potency Skill damage for 8 seconds, stacking up to 100–200% in Blizzard’s season overview. |
Blizzard’s Season of Witchcraft overview identifies these bosses as increased-chance sources, not guaranteed sources. It does not give a numeric probability for any of the three items. The overview also lists other Uniques in the same boss pools: Indira’s Memory and Strike of Stormhorn for The Beast in Ice; Assassin’s Stride, Kessime’s Legacy, and Okun’s Catalyst for Lord Zir. Those are separate items, not additional new Season 7 Uniques in this trio. Blizzard’s Season of Witchcraft overview.

How to get Mantle of Mountain’s Fury in Diablo 4 Season 7
Farm The Beast in Ice for an increased chance at the Barbarian chest armor Mantle of Mountain’s Fury. The target-boss listing does not guarantee a drop or provide odds, and the boss pool includes other Uniques. Blizzard’s Patch 2.1 notes document launch-era affixes including Hammer of the Ancients ranks, Defensive Stance ranks, and a chance for Earthquake to deal double damage. The same notes record a change to the inherent Hammer of the Ancients damage bonus after an Earthquake explodes, increasing it from 50% to 100% in that patch context. Item numbers can therefore vary by patch. Blizzard’s Diablo IV Patch 2.1 notes.
How to get Malefic Crescent in Diablo 4 Season 7
Farm Lord Zir for an increased chance at Malefic Crescent, the Druid amulet. The Season 7 overview describes its interaction with Lupine Ferocity and consecutive Critical Strikes; Patch 2.1 also records a balance adjustment to the amulet’s Lupine Ferocity Critical Strike damage bonus. Use the live item tooltip for the current value rather than treating a launch or patch-era number as universal. Lord Zir’s listed pool also contains existing Uniques, including Assassin’s Stride, Kessime’s Legacy, and Okun’s Catalyst.

How to get Sunstained War-Crozier in Diablo 4 Season 7
Farm Varshan for an increased chance at Sunstained War-Crozier, the Spiritborn quarterstaff. Blizzard’s overview says its Focus Skills benefit from all their upgrades and increase Potency Skill damage for 8 seconds, up to 100–200% in the overview’s listed range. This is an item-power description, not a stated drop probability; the source does not give Varshan odds.
Are these Season 7 farming locations still current?
The listed bosses come from Blizzard’s Season of Witchcraft overview for the season that began January 21, 2025, at 10 a.m. PST. Patch 2.1 documents balance changes to at least two of the items, demonstrating that item values can change. The cited official information does not establish whether the original target-boss locations or drop tables remain unchanged in October 2026. Check current in-game tooltips and current official patch information before planning a present-day farm.

Season of Witchcraft context
Season of Witchcraft’s launch loop centered on the Coven, Whisper bounties, and Headhunt zones. Blizzard described completing Whisper bounties in Headhunts to reveal Exposed Roots, with a rare chance to spawn an Uprooted Cocoon and a Headrotten boss. Returning a Fugitive Head to the Coven and completing bounties advanced seasonal rewards and materials. Blizzard did not identify these activities as guaranteed sources of the three highlighted Uniques. Players who owned Vessel of Hatred could begin the season questline after completing the expansion campaign prologue, then travel to Gea Kul and speak with Witch Gelena.
