First reported by Beebom on February 19, 2024, with credit to Dim Leaks, both sets and their Simulated Universe World 9 acquisition route were later confirmed in HoYoverse’s official Version 2.1 update notice.
Which Planar Ornament sets were reported?
The leak described both sets as options for damage dealers or sub-damage dealers, but their reported effects work in different ways: Sigonia builds Crit DMG as enemies are defeated, while Izumo offers an ATK bonus and a conditional Crit Rate bonus.
| Set | Reported Version 2.1 effect | Key condition |
|---|---|---|
| Sigonia, the Unclaimed Desolation | 4% Crit DMG per enemy defeated, up to 10 stacks. | Its stacks build as enemies are defeated. |
| Izumo Gensei and Takama Divine Realm | 12% ATK; after entering battle, 12% Crit Rate if at least one ally follows the same Path. | The Crit Rate bonus requires an ally on the wearer’s Path. |
These percentages and conditions are the effects reported in Beebom’s February 19, 2024 leak article, which credited Dim Leaks. They describe the reported Version 2.1 effects, not a universal ranking or a claim that either set is best for every character. For exact current localization and mechanics, use the in-game set descriptions.
What did HoYoverse confirm?
HoYoverse’s official Version 2.1 “Into the Yawning Chasm” update notice listed both set names and confirmed their effects at a high level. That later notice substantially confirmed the pre-release report: these were released Version 2.1 Planar Ornaments, rather than names that remained only in the leak.

How were the sets obtained in Version 2.1?
The update notice placed both sets among the Immersion Rewards in Simulated Universe World 9. Players could claim Immersion Rewards by spending Trailblaze Power or using an Immersifier. This is the documented acquisition route in the Version 2.1 notice; the leak itself was not an alternate way to obtain the ornaments.
How do the two reported effects differ?
- Sigonia: its reported Crit DMG stacks rely on defeating enemies, so the trigger described in the leak is enemy knockouts.
- Izumo: its reported conditional Crit Rate relies on party composition: at least one ally must follow the wearer’s Path. Its reported ATK bonus is a separate part of the set effect.
Choosing between them therefore depends on the character and encounter, as well as whether the relevant trigger can be met. The leak report does not establish character-specific build recommendations or comparative performance results.

What did the original leak say?
Beebom’s February 19, 2024 article, “Honkai Star Rail 2.1 Leaks: New Planar Ornaments Revealed”, attributed the information to Dim Leaks. The official update notice later confirmed the two sets’ inclusion in Version 2.1 and their World 9 reward route, making this a retrospective account of a pre-release leak—not a new leak announcement.
