What carries over from the Rebirth demo?
There are three different outcomes to distinguish: character progress, story progress and bonus eligibility. Square Enix support says demo levels and items do not carry over; completing the Nibelheim episode instead lets you skip a portion of the full game, while the episode’s save data qualifies for two bonus items.
- Levels and items: They do not transfer from the demo.
- Story access: Completing the Nibelheim episode lets you skip a portion of the full game. Square Enix does not specify the exact chapter or scene boundaries.
- Bonuses: A save from the Rebirth demo’s Nibelheim episode qualifies for the Kupo Charm and Survival Set.

How to check for the demo save and claim the bonuses
- Start FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH and select New Game. The game checks for eligible save data.
- If you want to run the check later, open the title menu and select Bonuses.
- Follow the in-game prompts to check the save and claim the eligible items.
Square Enix says the save check can be started either after selecting New Game or through Bonuses on the title menu. The specific instructions and labels above follow its support guidance.

Which rewards are from the Rebirth demo?
The Rebirth demo’s Nibelheim episode save qualifies for the Kupo Charm and Survival Set. Square Enix’s support page also lists Leviathan for FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE save data and Ramuh for FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE INTERmission save data. Those are separate save-data bonuses, not rewards for completing the Rebirth demo.
