Locked Gate is a map condition on The Blue Gate in ARC Raiders. To open the Checkpoint gate, players search four locations for security codes, then enter them at the matching terminals in the Gate Control Room. Embark’s schedule showed no occurrence planned when checked on October 8, 2026, so the event may not be playable at present; the schedule can change.
How to open the locked gate on Blue Gate
The event is a shared-lobby objective: squads search for the codes and return to the Gate Control Room, where four terminals control the Checkpoint gate. The sequence reported in event guides is:
- Search containers at Raider’s Refuge for its security code.
- Search containers at Reinforced Reception for its security code.
- Search containers at Pilgrim’s Peak for its security code.
- Search containers at Ancient Fort for its security code.
- Take the four codes to the Gate Control Room and use each one at its corresponding terminal.
Once all four terminals have been activated, the Checkpoint gate opens. The gate is accessible to the lobby; guides do not describe it as exclusive to the squad that submits the final code. GameSpot’s walkthrough and All Things How’s guide describe the route and objective.
What changes during Locked Gate
All Things How reports that the condition makes the raid longer and changes extraction options. These are guide-reported mechanics, not a guarantee about a future or revised version of the event:

Because the four code locations are spread around the map and squads return to the same control room and gate, completing the objective means substantial travel and potential encounters with other players. The guides describe this exposure, but do not provide encounter or survival rates.
What rewards can you get?
GameSpot reports that the tunnels can contain above-average loot and that the Bobcat blueprint may spawn during the event, with its likelihood increased behind the gate. These are reported possibilities, not guaranteed rewards: the reviewed sources provide no drop probability.

Is Locked Gate currently available?
Embark’s official map-conditions schedule listed Locked Gate with “No scheduled occurrences” when checked on October 8, 2026. That means it was not scheduled at that check; it does not establish that the event has been permanently removed. Check the official schedule for current availability, since map-condition rotations can change.

In an interview with PC Gamer, ARC Raiders design director Virgil Watkins discussed how Locked Gate and Hidden Bunker can encourage players to camp entrances rather than pursue the objectives. He said, “So that one’s a good use case for where revisions are probably required, right?” Watkins described the intent as keeping the events’ spirit while adjusting their mechanics. This was discussion of possible revisions, not a dated promise or confirmation of a particular patch. PC Gamer’s interview contains the surrounding context.
