When did Hades II 1.0 release?
The full release arrived on September 25, 2025. Supergiant announced the date on September 12, 2025, alongside confirmation of cross-save support. Nintendo UK also lists September 25, 2025 as the Nintendo Switch release date.

How do Hades II cross-saves work?
Supergiant describes cross-saves between Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, and between Steam and the Epic Games Store. Its FAQ also explains that PC/Mac saves can be transferred to Nintendo consoles through an in-game menu. The sources describe these specific connections; they do not establish one universal save shared across every platform.

What is different about the Switch 2 version?
Nintendo says Hades II runs at 120 frames per second when played in TV Mode on Nintendo Switch 2, and that the game supports cross-save compatibility with the PC version. The 120 fps statement applies to TV Mode; it should not be read as a claim about handheld play. Nintendo’s announcement is Battle beyond the Underworld in Hades II.

Supergiant’s current site says a standard physical game card is available in stores worldwide for both Switch and Switch 2. Retail stock can vary, so check the console version, seller, and edition on the specific listing before buying. Supergiant’s launch post has the physical-release information.
