No. Halo Infinite does not support local split-screen in its campaign. You can play the campaign together online through Network Co-Op, while local split-screen is limited to competitive Multiplayer on Xbox consoles.
Can you play the Halo Infinite campaign split-screen?
No. Adding another controller or arranging extra displays does not enable supported local, same-console co-op for the campaign. Halo Support says local split-screen is for competitive Multiplayer on Xbox consoles, not Campaign (Halo Support: Local Split-Screen).
What co-op options does the campaign have?
Online Network Co-Op
The campaign can be played cooperatively online. Halo Support’s November 8, 2022 Winter Update describes Network Co-Op for up to four players playing through the entire campaign (Halo Waypoint: Winter Update). This is online co-op, not couch co-op: it does not put multiple players on one console and screen.
Single-player
The official game-modes guide characterizes Campaign as a single-player story (Halo Support: Game Modes Overview). Network Co-Op is the way to play that story with others.

Which Halo Infinite modes support local split-screen?
Local split-screen is available for competitive Multiplayer on Xbox consoles, according to Halo Support. That is separate from Campaign, even though both are part of Halo Infinite. The documented local split-screen support is specifically for Xbox consoles; it does not establish local campaign support on any platform.
Does buying or accessing the campaign add split-screen?
No. Campaign access and multiplayer mode support are separate. Halo Support says Campaign must be purchased or accessed through some Xbox Game Pass memberships, while Multiplayer and Academy are free to play (Halo Support: Campaign FAQ). Having access to Campaign does not add local campaign split-screen.

What about campaign split-screen workarounds?
The official support information describes supported modes, but does not document a supported way to enable local split-screen in Campaign. Treat claims of an exploit or workaround as unsupported unless Halo’s official guidance confirms them.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Why do older articles mention split-screen co-op?
In March 2022, 343 Industries said it was aiming to deliver Campaign Network Co-Op later in Season 2 and planned to share a release date for it and split-screen co-op (Halo Waypoint: Season 1 Outcomes). That was an earlier plan, not confirmation that local campaign split-screen became available. The later Winter Update describes Network Co-Op as online campaign play; Halo Support’s current mode guidance limits local split-screen to competitive Multiplayer.
