That is a finding about the current documentation—not a promise that Roblox will never come to Nintendo hardware.
Can you download Roblox from the Nintendo eShop?
Roblox’s official platform materials describe dedicated options for several platforms, including Xbox and PlayStation. Its published platform list also names iOS, Android, PC, Mac and VR hardware such as Meta Quest, but does not include Nintendo Switch. Roblox’s corporate platform statement likewise omits Switch.
Nintendo describes the Nintendo eShop as a place to browse, buy and download Switch games. That general FAQ is not a title-specific catalog result, so it should not be taken as proof of a search across every regional store. The practical answer is that Roblox does not document a Switch app or supported Switch installation route in the official materials cited here.
Is there an official release date or workaround?
No official Switch or Switch 2 release date, or official workaround, is documented in the sources cited here. Browser, DNS, modified-console, sideloading and cloud-streaming methods described by unofficial sources are not supported routes established by Roblox or Nintendo in those materials. Avoid treating them as reliable installation instructions.

Where can you play Roblox instead?
Choose based on hardware you already own, portability, current compatibility, preferred controls and household rules. Roblox documents these supported options:

What should you check before choosing a portable device?
A phone or tablet is the closest documented alternative if portability matters. Check the exact device against Roblox’s current mobile requirements before buying; operating-system versions alone do not establish compatibility if the required graphics support is missing. Roblox states: “The Roblox application requires iOS 14 / iPadOS 14 or higher.”

If you are choosing between a portable device and a console, consider whether you already own compatible hardware and whether the player prefers touchscreen, keyboard-and-mouse, or controller input. The cited platform pages establish compatibility and cross-platform play, not a performance ranking among devices.

Roblox offers parental settings through a linked parent account on Roblox.com or the iOS or Android app. The controls described in its Parental Controls FAQ cover screen time, content maturity, allowed or blocked experiences, friends, spending limits and Robux balance. These are Roblox account controls; they do not make Roblox playable on Switch.
