Fire is a practical first elemental choice, with Thunder worth considering second. Icy Veins names Fire as Doshaguma’s weakest-to element and Thunder as the next weakness. Database summaries differ in their elemental rankings: the Field Codex gives head values of Fire 20, Water 10, Thunder 15, Ice 10, and Dragon 5, while the Ascendance Database rates Fire and Thunder at two stars, Water and Ice at one, and Dragon at none. Where to find Doshaguma
Doshaguma is listed in the Windward Plains, Scarlet Forest, and Ruins of Wyveria. It is territorial and may appear in large packs; the Field Codex specifically describes packs in the Windward Plains. How to fight Doshaguma
Keep room to evade
Approach with lateral escape space. When Doshaguma commits to a straight charge, roll sideways rather than trying to retreat along its path. Move laterally from its double arm slam, and leave the landing area when it rears into a body slam. After a bite, keep moving: it may bite a second time. Attack during openings
Prioritize the head when it is safe to reach; its listed cutting, blunt, and shot hitzones are favorable relative to the other listed parts. If the head is not safely accessible, the forelegs and tail remain targets, with the tail offering a 50 cutting hitzone in the cited table. Use wounds and terrain carefully
The guide says wounds expose a weak point at low health, but also warns that Doshaguma becomes more aggressive when wounded. When it rises on its hind legs, its belly is exposed; use the opening only if you can get in and out safely. Rock and vine traps can help create attack opportunities when the terrain allows. Manage pack interference
When several Doshaguma are present, track the others as you attack; a second one may charge into the fight. If a pack disrupts a separate hunt, the guide recommends using dung pods or large dung pods to disperse them. Ascendance Database guide
