These conversions apply to September 4, 2024. Daylight-saving rules vary by location and date, so do not reuse the abbreviations or offsets for another date without checking the local time zone.
Early Tip-Off date, worldwide release and eligible platforms
In its August 29, 2024 announcement, 2K said the worldwide release was September 6 and qualifying players could start on September 4. The announcement listed PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC for Early Tip-Off. Nintendo Switch was included in the worldwide-release list, but not in the announcement’s Early Tip-Off platform list.

2K said purchases made before September 6 qualified, and preorders of any edition through participating retailers on compatible platforms were automatically eligible. Because this was a 2024 promotion, those dates do not describe a current opportunity to access the game early.
Why exact regional and platform unlock times are uncertain
2K’s announcement establishes the 5 a.m. PT anchor, but the detailed regional-launch support article it linked is no longer available at its cited support URL. Secondary reproductions differ in how they describe platform schedules, including a reported difference between console and Steam timing. They are not enough to establish exact unlock times for every country and platform.
