The active Helldivers 2 Major Order calls for liberating Senge 23 and eliminating 400 million Illuminate. In the latest captured status, the kill objective was complete and Senge 23 was 99.9% liberated, but the order still showed the planet objective as pending. The archive lists a reward of 35 medals.
What is the new Major Order?
The active order combines a planet-liberation objective with a large enemy-elimination target:

- Liberate Senge 23.
- Eliminate 400,000,000 Illuminate hostiles.
- Reward listed in the archive: 35 medals.
These objectives and the listed reward are shown by Helldivers Stats, an independent archive that says it draws on Steam and Super Earth War Department telemetry. It is not an official developer announcement.
What is the current progress?
At the status snapshot captured on October 8, 2026, the Illuminate kill target was marked complete and Senge 23 was at 99.9% liberation. The order detail page nevertheless still marked the planet objective as pending and estimated about 15 hours remaining. Progress, estimated time, and objective status can change, so treat these figures as a snapshot rather than a fixed deadline or a live guarantee.

What happened to the previous order?
The archive records the preceding Major Order as completed on October 8 at 08:50 UTC. Its objectives were to maintain control of Senge 23 and eliminate 30 million plus 40 million Terminids.
There is a reward discrepancy: the archive table lists 45 medals, while the individual order detail page says “no reward listed.” The available records therefore do not establish a definitive payout for that order.

How this fits the Galactic War
The order is part of the game’s evolving Galactic War, but the developer’s broader comments should not be mistaken for an explanation of this specific objective. In the official September 25, 2026 Steam announcement “Launching Devoid of Liberty: A Look Back,” Creative Director Mikael Eriksson described the goal as “a future where the Galactic War is this interesting and dynamic every day, and felt inside and out of the game.”
Helldivers 2 is available on PlayStation, according to the PlayStation Blog. The current order is a task for players in the game; following its status does not require buying anything beyond access to the game.
