“Black Knight” does not point to one game or one unlock. In Ogre Battle 64: Person of Lordly Caliber, it is a character class with specific class-change requirements. In Dragon Nest, the available walkthrough describes a story quest called “The Black Knight,” not a playable-class unlock. A Fortnite forum discussion refers to a cosmetic style, but does not establish how to obtain it now.
First, identify which Black Knight you mean
The phrase appears in different games and refers to different things: a class change in Ogre Battle 64, a storyline in Dragon Nest, and a style discussed by Fortnite players. These are not interchangeable unlock paths. The details below apply only to the game and meaning named in each section.
| Game | What “Black Knight” means here | What the cited source establishes |
|---|---|---|
| Ogre Battle 64: Person of Lordly Caliber | A character class | A community class guide lists requirements for changing class. |
| Dragon Nest | A story quest and storyline | A walkthrough lists a level 12 quest titled “The Black Knight”; it does not confirm a playable class unlock. |
| Fortnite | A style discussed in relation to Ultimate Knight challenges | A Reddit forum post discusses the style, but does not establish current availability or an official unlock method. |
Ogre Battle 64: meet the class-change requirements
The Ogre Battle 64 Archive male class guide lists four conditions for the Black Knight class:
- Chaotic alignment between 0 and 40.
- Strength of at least 117.
- Vitality of at least 112.
- The character must have promoted seven or more soldiers.
These are requirements reported by that community guide for Ogre Battle 64. The source does not establish that they apply across every release or version. The game is identified as Ogre Battle 64: Person of Lordly Caliber by OgreBattle64.net.

Dragon Nest: follow the story quest, not a class-unlock guide
The Dragon Nest SEA Wiki walkthrough for “Chapter 2: Pursuing the Black Knight” describes a sequence of quests in the Black Knight storyline, including a level 12 quest titled “The Black Knight.” That establishes story progression, not that a player can unlock or play as a Black Knight class.
Fortnite: the forum result does not confirm a current unlock
A Reddit discussion in r/FortNiteBR refers to a Black Knight style and Ultimate Knight challenges. As a user forum post, it is not official confirmation of an unlock method, and it does not establish whether the style is currently available. Do not treat it as current guidance without confirmation for the relevant Fortnite season.
