Bethesda announced a planned March 21, 2023 launch for Android and iOS, but the game is no longer playable: Bethesda Support says its servers shut down on August 7, 2024.
What was Mighty DOOM?
Mighty DOOM was a mobile spin-off of the DOOM franchise, not a PC or console release. Its top-down view and single-touch controls set it apart from the first-person format of the mainline games. The player controlled the Mini Slayer in an animated version of the DOOM universe. GameSpot’s February 2023 report described the game as a top-down mobile shooter; a contemporary MobileSyrup announcement result attributed the description “adorably violent top-down, single-touch action shooter” to Bethesda.
Who made it, and what platforms were planned?
Alpha Dog Games developed Mighty DOOM. GameSpot identified the studio as based in Nova Scotia, while the studio’s press-kit listing describes it as based in Canada. The retrieved sources do not establish a city.
The press-kit listing names Android and iOS as the game’s platforms and describes levels, bosses, skills, gear, and weapons. Those details come from an IGDB-hosted listing rather than a primary Bethesda announcement.

When was Mighty DOOM supposed to launch?
Contemporary reports gave March 21, 2023 as the planned launch date. That is the announced date, not a claim about the confirmed date the game actually became available. The IGDB-hosted press-kit listing gives March 22, 2023 instead; the available sources do not resolve that discrepancy, so the dates should not be treated as interchangeable.
Can you download or play Mighty DOOM now?
No. Bethesda Support says the game’s servers shut down on August 7, 2024. Its response to “Where can I download Mighty DOOM?” repeats that shutdown notice, so the game is not currently available to install and play through its service. See Bethesda’s server shutdown notice and download support page.
