EA says an offer can last from a few hours to longer than 30 days, and may or may not require in-game currency, so check the individual offer’s timer and cost before committing.
What a Training Camp Evolution does
A Training Camp Evolution passively upgrades an eligible FUT Player Item over time. Some offers contain more than one level. When a level’s timer has passed, claim it to apply that level’s upgrades; if another level is available, claiming automatically starts its timer.

EA’s official Training Camp Evolutions notes say longer Evolutions generally align with more substantial rewards, but duration does not guarantee a particular upgrade value. Compare each offer’s requirements, levels, rewards and displayed time rather than judging it by duration alone.
How long does a Training Camp Evolution take?
EA SPORTS FC Team’s 2025 notes give a broad range: Training Camp Evolutions can take “a few hours to longer than 30 days.” The actual time is specific to the offer and its levels. Check the displayed timer before submitting a player; for a multi-level Evolution, account for the additional time that begins when you claim a level and the next one starts.

Are Training Camp Evolutions free?
There is no universal price. EA says offers may come with or without an in-game currency requirement. Read the selected Evolution’s displayed requirement in the Companion before confirming it. The official notes do not establish a current catalogue or price for every FC 25 offer, so a cost from another Evolution should not be assumed to apply.
How to activate one
- Log out of Football Ultimate Team on console or PC before viewing your Club in the Companion, as EA advises in its notes.
- Open the EA SPORTS FC Web or Mobile Companion and go to Evolutions.
- Choose the Training Camp Evolution and review its eligibility requirements, upgrade levels, timer and any currency requirement.
- Select an eligible Player Item and confirm only when you are ready for it to be unavailable in matches for the active period.
The Player Item must meet the requirements of that particular offer. A card previously upgraded through a standard Evolution can qualify if it meets those requirements, but a standard Evolution that is still in progress cannot be submitted.

Can you use the player while it is in Training Camp?
No. While its Training Camp Evolution is active, the item cannot be used in a match until the time specified for the Evolution has passed. It remains visible in your Club. Once the timer finishes, claim the completed level to apply its upgrades.
Can you cancel or pause it?
You can cancel an active Training Camp Evolution. Cancellation restores the item’s in-game eligibility, but you forfeit upgrades that have not been earned. EA says the offer cannot be paused, cannot be restarted with a different Player Item, and spent Coins or FC Points are not refunded.

How many Training Camp Evolutions can be active?
EA’s 2025 pitch notes described a separate Training Camp limit of one, independent of the standard active Evolution limit, and illustrated two standard Evolutions alongside one Training Camp Evolution. Treat that one-slot figure as the limit described in those 2025 notes, not as a live-verified 2026 rule. The notes also say Training Camp Evolutions do not count toward the standard active Evolution limit.
