Transport Fever 3 is a released transport-management simulation from Urban Games and publisher Paradox Interactive. Available since September 29, 2026, it lets you build networks for passengers and freight across rail, road, sea, and air, then grow settlements and your logistics company. You can play its eight-mission campaign, build in free play or sandbox, and create custom maps. Here’s what the game offers, where to play it, and how its editions differ.
What is Transport Fever 3?
Transport Fever 3 is a transport-management simulation, not a conventional city builder. You plan and operate routes for passengers and goods, connecting towns and industries by railway, road, shipping lane, and air route. The publisher describes a world where settlements and industries evolve in response to player actions. Network profitability supports goals such as helping towns prosper and advancing your logistics company’s rank. Paradox Interactive’s launch release and its First Look feature summary describe more than 300 vehicles across transport modes, including helicopters, which are new to the series, and four environments: temperate, desert, tropical, and sub-arctic.
The Tycoon Gameplay Overview outlines additional systems tied to running a network: citizen happiness, cargo demand, traffic, pollution, noise, municipal areas, landmarks, optional contracts, subsidies, and company progression. It says vehicles are maintained automatically when operating within range of suitable facilities; neglected fleets gradually slow down and produce more noise and pollution. These are the publisher’s descriptions of the simulation, not independently tested performance or gameplay findings.
