When is Toy Day in Animal Crossing: New Horizons?
Toy Day is December 24. Nintendo’s holiday event guide identifies the date and describes helping Jingle deliver presents to residents. Nintendo does not state a regional date difference on that page.
How to prepare for Toy Day
Before December 24, you can collect ornaments from decorated trees and use them to craft festive DIY recipes. For another holiday activity, visit Nook’s Cranny to buy festive gifts for your animal neighbors. Nintendo presents shopping as a preparation idea, not a requirement for completing Jingle’s delivery activity.

Jingle, a black-nosed reindeer, visits the island on Toy Day. The central activity is helping him deliver gifts to island residents. Nintendo’s event overview describes the activity at a high level; it does not provide a complete current reward list or establish every detailed event mechanic.
What to check if Toy Day or Jingle is missing
Nintendo Support’s missing visitor and event guidance says Animal Crossing: New Horizons follows the real-time date and time on the Nintendo Switch 2 or Nintendo Switch. If Toy Day is scheduled but does not appear, check these items:
