Might & Magic Fates is a digital, free-to-play card strategy game set in Ubisoft’s Might & Magic universe. Ubisoft announced its collaboration with Immutable on April 23, 2025, describing a tactical, turn-based game for iOS and Android. Immutable Play now lists February 4, 2026 as the release date and links to Steam, while presenting the game as returning on mobile and Steam.
What is Might & Magic Fates?
Ubisoft and Immutable describe Might & Magic Fates as a digital trading card game built around tactical, turn-based battles. Its announced gameplay combines deck construction, faction-based playstyles, heroes, creatures and spells. Ubisoft said the game would feature hundreds of collectible cards, but that is a product description—not a separate market statistic.
The battle system is described as using gold generated from cards in a player’s hand as mana. Heroes fight alongside summoned creatures, can equip artifacts, gain experience during battles and unlock abilities. Positioning and timing are part of the tactical play.
When did Might & Magic Fates come out?
Immutable Play lists February 4, 2026 as the release date. Its page categorizes the game as Card, Tactical and Strategy and links to Steam under the heading “The Legendary Franchise returns on Mobile and Steam.” That listing supports the stated date and Steam destination; it does not establish that the game is available in every country or provide a complete current mobile-store availability list.

Is Might & Magic Fates free to play?
Ubisoft described Fates as free to play in its April 23, 2025 announcement. The announcement also presents trading through an external marketplace as optional and says it provides no competitive advantage. Ubisoft framed the competitive premise as “victory is earned through skill, not spending”; that is the publisher’s promotional characterization, not an independent assessment of game balance.
Can you trade cards in Might & Magic Fates?
Ubisoft says players can trade cards through an external marketplace powered by Immutable in eligible regions. The feature is optional, and Ubisoft says players can compete without using it. The announcement does not identify every eligible region or confirm access for a particular player, so trading should not be assumed to be available everywhere.
