What kind of adventure is it?
Chloe Frazer teams up with mercenary Nadine Ross to find the Golden Tusk of Ganesh and keep it from a warmonger. Their search takes them through India’s Western Ghats, across urban spaces, jungle and ruins associated with the former Hoysala Empire. PlayStation’s official game overview describes a mix of cinematic combat, exploration, traversal and puzzles.
The pairing gives the adventure its personality. PlayStation character descriptions frame Chloe as quick-witted and improvisational, while Nadine is composed, calculated and tactically skilled. Their contrasting styles provide the character dynamic that reviews frequently single out.

Do you need to play Uncharted 4 first?
No. PlayStation announced The Lost Legacy as a standalone story in the Uncharted universe, rather than an add-on requiring Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. It follows characters introduced in the broader series, but the product itself does not require owning Uncharted 4. The December 2016 announcement described it as a standalone release.
