Choose an approach to Data Store A
Windows Central’s walkthrough, published March 24, 2025, describes two approaches. The Wyndham Village entrance is its step-by-step route. A lower approach from Data Store C is presented as uncertain rather than a reliable shortcut.

The directions below follow the Wyndham Village route. The source does not identify a game patch, platform, or version range, so these instructions are not guaranteed for every build.
Reach Data Store A from Wyndham Village
Get past the entrance guard
At the Wyndham Village entrance, use the small path to the left of the door to bypass the guard. If you are approaching from the Church, the walkthrough also describes climbing over the wall above the Substation.

Find the Central Processor room and take a battery
Proceed through the interior until you reach the Central Processor room, then take a battery. You will need it as you continue down toward the lower area.
Prepare for the blue smoke
The descent exposes you to blue smoke. The walkthrough advises carrying bandages and medical kits, or obtaining the tonic from Mother Jago in Casterfell Woods. It says the tonic recipe can be found at the Druids Camp in the southwest of Casterfell Woods.

What to expect from the Data Store C approach
If you attempt the lower route instead, the walkthrough recommends getting the tonic first, carrying a battery, climbing the ladder, and inserting the battery quickly. The author cautions that success is not guaranteed and that you may need more than one battery. Treat this as a risky alternative, not a dependable way to bypass the Wyndham Village route.

After powering Data Store A or Data Store C, go downstairs to the ground floor. Find the large “Medical” sign, take the stairs to its left, then follow the long, lit hallway to the Medical Facility entrance. The walkthrough describes this access after either store is powered; it does not establish that reaching the facility requires Data Store A specifically.
