Which PlayStation consoles support Roblox?
PlayStation’s official Roblox listing names PS4 and PS5, not PS3. Roblox’s PlayStation support page likewise describes playing on a PlayStation console with an internet connection. The available official information therefore does not support expecting the current Roblox app to work on a PS3.

What can you use instead?
If you want to play Roblox on a PlayStation, the supported options listed by PlayStation are PS4 and PS5. The game is listed as free, but online play and an internet connection are required. Availability can vary by region and listings can change, so check the PlayStation Store for your location.
Roblox’s October 10, 2023 launch announcement named PS4 and PS5 as supported PlayStation platforms. On April 14, 2026, PlayStation Blog announced a native PS5 app. PlayStation described that version as having “up to 30% faster load times”; that figure is PlayStation’s claim, not an independent comparison.

Can an update, adapter, or workaround make it run on PS3?
The official sources do not document a way to install or run Roblox on PS3, and they do not establish whether any unofficial workaround works. A controller, adapter, or software modification should not be treated as a solution to the compatibility issue. The supported PlayStation choices in the official listing are PS4 and PS5.
