Can you still get a HypeSquad House badge?
Discord’s current Profile Badges 101, updated July 31, 2026, says that users could earn a HypeSquad House badge “in the past” by taking a quiz. That wording does not promise that the quiz is currently available. If you do not already have a House badge, Discord’s current documentation does not provide a supported way to earn one now.

The House badge is also distinct from the HypeSquad Events badge. Discord’s badge overview says the Events badge is no longer obtainable; it is not a fourth House or a route to collecting all three.
How the HypeSquad quiz worked
Discord’s HypeSquad House Breakdown, updated April 19, 2024, describes the historical process: a five-question aptitude test in User Settings placed the user into one of three houses. The article says users could retake the test, but could not directly choose a house.

That is a description of the former placement system, not current instructions for unlocking badges. Discord does not say that retaking the quiz granted a second House badge or let one account keep multiple house placements.

- House of Bravery: Discord associated it with “confident optimism and tenacity.”
- House of Brilliance: Discord described it in terms of “patience and discipline.”
- House of Balance: Discord connected it with “harmony and poise.”
These are the three possible quiz placements described in Discord’s House Breakdown. They are not documented as three separate achievements a user could collect on one account.
Can you switch houses or transfer a badge?
The official sources describe retaking the historical placement quiz but do not explain whether or how an existing House badge can be switched or removed today. Discord does state that profile badges are non-transferable and cannot be moved to another account, so transferring a badge between accounts is not an option.
What to do if you want the badge
If the quiz is not available in your Discord account, the official documentation offers no current earning route. Be cautious of guides or tools claiming to add, switch, or duplicate House badges: Discord’s documented system was a one-house placement quiz, and its current badge overview presents House badges as something users earned in the past.
