The 4× Star Bonus is a temporary event multiplier: complete your eligible Star Bonus while the event is running and its normal reward is multiplied by four. In the Home Village, earn five stars across Ranked Battles, regular Battles and/or Revenge attacks. Check the in-game Event Hub for current dates and status; past events do not indicate that one is active now.
How to earn the Home Village Star Bonus
- Check availability: Look at the Attack button. Supercell Support says, “Seeing five stars on the ‘Attack!’ button means that Star Bonus is available.” Supercell Support’s Loot and Star Bonus guide describes this indicator.
- Fight in an eligible mode: Earn stars in Ranked Battles, regular Battles and/or Revenge attacks. Ranked and regular Battle modes both count toward Star Bonus progress, and the bonus is based on your current League and Town Hall level, according to Supercell’s announcement of Battle and Ranked modes.
- Reach five stars: The five-star requirement is for the Home Village. The stars can come across eligible attacks; you do not need to earn all five in a single battle.
- Collect the reward: Once complete, the reward is sent to the Treasury in your Clan Castle. Check there to see and manage the deposited resources.
What the 4× multiplier changes
During a 4× event, completing the Star Bonus pays four times the normal bonus amount. It multiplies the bonus reward; it does not change the five-star requirement. Supercell explained the multiplier and its timer mechanics in a 2017 Star Bonus article. Treat it as a mechanics explanation, not evidence that an event is active today.

Bonus amounts depend on game progression and can change with updates. Supercell Support lists Gold, Elixir, Dark Elixir and ores among Home Village Star Bonus rewards, and says higher Ranked Leagues improve the bonus. The 2025 release notes for The Sound of Clash Update say Star Bonus amounts increased slightly across those resources, with stronger scaling when reaching a new Town Hall. Consequently, an exact reward total is version- and account-dependent; do not assume a fixed amount based on an old example.
How often the Star Bonus becomes available
Completing a Star Bonus starts a 24-hour timer. If a bonus is available but remains incomplete for 24 hours, the next one becomes available immediately after you complete it. Under this timing rule, up to two bonuses can stack. The timer affects when another bonus can be earned; it does not make the event multiplier permanent.

How to check whether a 4× event is active
Open the in-game Event Hub and check its event banner for the current details and time remaining. A 4× Star Bonus is scheduled temporarily, so rely on the live game rather than old dates, screenshots or guides. Supercell Support says the Event Hub banners show current event information.
Past schedules are useful only as examples of how limited the event is. Supercell’s May 2024 MORE Community Event offered the 4× bonus after the fifth milestone, from June 1, 2024 at 11:00 AM EEST through June 3, 2024 at 11:00 AM EEST (event announcement). A September 2025 season announcement listed another 4× period for September 17–20 (season announcement). Neither schedule establishes current availability.

If the bonus does not appear or the reward is missing
- No bonus indicator: Check the Attack button. If it does not show the five-star availability indicator, the Home Village bonus may not yet be ready.
- Stars are not counting: Make sure the stars came from an eligible Home Village mode. Builder Battles use a separate Star Bonus.
- Reward not visible as loot: Check the Clan Castle Treasury, where completed Home Village Star Bonus rewards are deposited.
- You expected four times the reward: Confirm the Event Hub shows an active 4× event and complete the bonus within its listed window. A normal Star Bonus is not automatically multiplied outside the event.
