What the categories recognize
The winners span more than an overall game-of-the-year prize. The list includes platform-specific recognition for Steam Deck and VR, multiplayer and ongoing-support categories, and awards for soundtrack, visual style, innovation, and a relaxing play experience. Each category has its own winner; the results do not establish a single ranking across all nominated games.
