The unofficial Voxlblade Wiki offers goal-specific race suggestions and three community build templates—not an official tier list. Choose a race for the passive that fits your combat plan, then make sure your weapon, weapon art, guild, and gear support that plan. The wiki labels its race figures as published values; confirm details in the live game because they may change.
Which Voxlblade race should you choose?
The options below match a race passive to a particular goal. They are examples from the wiki’s short comparison, not a complete ranking, and the listed values have not been independently verified.
| Goal | Community guide suggestion | Published passive or reason |
|---|---|---|
| Reduce rune cooldowns | Elf | 40% rune cooldown reduction, according to the Voxlblade Wiki, 2026. |
| Reduce weapon-art cooldowns | High Elf | 25% weapon-art cooldown reduction, according to the Voxlblade Wiki, 2026. |
| Increase basic-attack speed | Kitsune | +0.1 contribution to the speed average and 10% movement speed, according to the Voxlblade Wiki, 2026. |
| Prioritize protection on a first character | Arborian | The guide cites protection, fire defense, and regeneration in sunlight. |
| Penetrate armor against bosses | Half-Ork | 10 armor penetration on all attacks, according to the Voxlblade Wiki, 2026. |
| Land a critical hit after a passive dodge | Bunikin | The hit after a passive dodge is a critical hit, according to the guide. |
Human, Dark Elf, Dragon Blooded, and Ork are not listed in this short comparison. The wiki cautions that their absence does not mean they are inferior; it does not provide a basis here for ranking them against the listed races.
How to match a race to a build
Start with the combat input or constraint you want to improve: rune cooldown, weapon-art cooldown, attack speed, beginner survivability, armor penetration, or a dodge-triggered critical hit. Then check whether the build’s weapon, art, guild, and gear reinforce that same plan.

Do not judge a weapon by its displayed damage number alone. The community guide warns that a higher number can mislead when the weapon’s scaling does not match your boosts. Compare the scaling and your character’s boosts before treating the number as proof that one setup is stronger.

Can you change your race?
The unofficial wiki says race changes use the Shrine of Change at the Lost Shrine. It also says races with gamepass unlocks still require the paid unlock, while Bunikin requires an achievement or quest. The page does not establish current unlock costs or confirm that these requirements remain unchanged, so check the live game before spending or planning around a specific unlock.
