Which WWE 2K25 playable characters are confirmed?
Official announcements confirm five playable additions in the Attitude Era Superstars Pack, two characters that can be unlocked through The Hall of Legends expansion, and several named additions in the New Wave Pack. These announcements describe particular content, not the whole roster.
Attitude Era Superstars Pack
The official Attitude Era Superstars Pack report names five new playable characters:

The pack is available separately and is included with the Season Pass and Ringside Pass, according to the report. Those are routes to this pack; the announcement does not establish current regional price or store availability.
Hall of Legends: Goldberg and Nikki Bella
The same official report says the Hall of Legends expansion lets players unlock Goldberg and Nikki Bella as playable characters throughout WWE 2K25 after purchasing the expansion and interacting in The Hall of Legends. This is an unlock path, not an automatic roster addition just for owning the base game.

New Wave Pack
The localized official New Wave Pack report identifies Chris Sabin, Alex Shelley, Giulia, and Stephanie Vaquer. It refers to a fifth special guest character but the retrieved passage does not name that character, so it cannot be identified here. The report also describes additional moves and MyFACTION content; those features should not be confused with extra playable wrestlers.

What the Season Pass and editions tell you
The official WWE 2K25 purchase page says the Season Pass includes five post-launch character DLC packs and the SuperCharger. It describes editions and platform-specific content, but the available page does not establish current prices, regional terms, or store availability. Check the listing for your platform and region before buying; an edition or pass should not be treated as proof that every roster character is included.
Why MyFACTION cards are not the same as roster characters
MyFACTION includes cards, packs, collection routes, VC, and game modes, as described on the official MyFACTION feature page. A card should not be counted as a distinct playable wrestler unless the game or an official announcement explicitly says it unlocks a playable character. Alternate personas, cards, managers, and cosmetics are not automatically separate roster entries.

Intergender matches expand matchups, not the roster
WWE 2K25 supports matches between Superstars from men’s and women’s divisions across game modes, according to the official intergender matches overview. That feature changes which confirmed characters can face one another; it does not identify additional characters or establish the roster’s size.
What is not established about the full roster
The official sources cited here confirm selected DLC and feature details, but do not provide a consolidated, current list of every playable character across the base game, editions, unlocks, and DLC. Because those categories overlap and access can depend on platform or purchase, publishing an exact total or calling this a complete roster would overstate what these sources confirm. For a specific character, check the in-game roster and the content listing for your edition and platform.
