WWE 2K25 has five fighting-style labels supported across 2K’s official sources: High-Flyer, Technician, Striker, Powerhouse, and Giant. The first four are named together on the official MyFACTION page; 2K separately identifies Giant as a new fighting style or archetype in its February 7, 2025 gameplay announcement. These labels suggest different offensive identities, but the official sources do not provide a complete, universal chart of their current stats or mechanics.
What do fighting styles mean in WWE 2K25?
Think of a style as a broad description of how a wrestler tends to attack, not a promise that every mode uses an identical class system. It gives players a quick way to distinguish aerial offense, grappling, strikes, strength-based moves, and the big-wrestler identity associated with Giants.

Mode matters. The official MyFACTION page uses High-Flyer, Powerhouse, Technician, and Striker to describe Superstar cards and faction building. The Giant label comes from 2K’s gameplay announcement, which calls it a new archetype or fighting style. That does not establish that all five appear as selectable classes in every mode.
The five WWE 2K25 fighting styles
High-Flyer
High-Flyers build their offense around agility and attacks from above or at a distance: dives, springboards, and moves launched from elevated positions. 2K’s gameplay announcement highlights a high-flying barricade dive, illustrating the kind of aerial action associated with this identity. It does not say that particular moves are exclusive to the style or specify a style bonus.

Technician
Technicians suggest a grappling-focused approach, with holds, counters, and submissions as the natural points of reference. The MyFACTION page confirms Technician as a roster-style label, but the official WWE 2K25 sources cited here do not define a complete set of mechanics for it.
Striker
Strikers emphasize stand-up offense: punches, kicks, and other direct strikes. The label is confirmed on the MyFACTION page, but the official source does not establish exact damage values, combo advantages, or other numerical benefits.

Powerhouse
Powerhouses are associated with strength-led offense and forceful grapples. The label appears alongside the other three styles on the MyFACTION page; no full current numeric comparison is published there.
Giant
Giant is a distinct WWE 2K25 addition in 2K’s gameplay announcement, not another name for Powerhouse. It signals a big-wrestler identity, but the announcement does not provide a full mechanical breakdown. Avoid assuming specific armor, stamina, damage, or stun effects based on the label alone.

How to choose a style identity
Use these as broad orientation rather than a ranking. The most useful distinction is the route each label suggests for offense:

The play-pace and risk implied by those identities can help you describe a wrestler or decide what kind of offense you want to use. They are not official performance rankings, and the sources do not establish universal move restrictions or exact stat differences. For a specific mode or created wrestler, rely on the current in-game description rather than assuming that one label works identically everywhere.

Fighting styles are not match types
Underground Match and Bloodline Rules Match are match types, not fighting styles. WWE 2K Support also lists intergender matchups and returning Chain Wrestling among WWE 2K25 additions; these are gameplay or match features, not extra entries in the style list. Why mode context matters
MyFACTION and MyRISE describe different experiences, so the style labels on Superstar cards should not be treated as proof of a shared class interface. 2K’s Online Manual for Xbox One describes MyRISE as a multi-gender storyline in which you control a custom Superstar. The MyFACTION page, by contrast, uses its four named styles in the context of cards and faction building. Neither description establishes that MyRISE, MyFACTION, and custom Superstar creation all use the same style selection or mechanics.
