Shaquille O’Neal is confirmed for WWE 2K25’s Dunk & Destruction Pack, but he is not identified as the unnamed celebrity guest promised for the earlier New Wave Pack. 2K’s announcements name Shaq in one pack and KSI’s PRIME Bottle in another; the official sources reviewed here do not establish the New Wave guest’s identity or playable release date.
Which WWE 2K25 DLC pack includes Shaq?
Shaquille O’Neal is part of the Dunk & Destruction Pack, the second of five planned WWE 2K25 post-launch character packs. In its June 25, 2025 announcement, 2K named Shaq alongside NBA players Tyrese Haliburton and Jalen Brunson. The pack also includes Abyss and The Great Khali. 2K’s Dunk & Destruction announcement confirms the lineup.

This answers whether Shaq is coming to WWE 2K25 as DLC: yes. It does not make him the New Wave Pack’s separately promised guest.
Who was the New Wave Pack’s celebrity guest?
The New Wave Pack was released on May 14, 2025, with Alex Shelley, Chris Sabin, Giulia, and Stephanie Vaquer. 2K also said purchasers would receive entitlement to a special celebrity guest character, but did not name that person in the announcement. It said the guest would be revealed later and that the playable character and release date would be announced post-launch. 2K’s New Wave Pack announcement is the source for those details.

The official announcements reviewed here do not resolve the guest’s identity or playable release timing. That is a limit of the sources reviewed, not proof that no later announcement exists. Neither Shaq nor KSI is identified in those announcements as the New Wave guest.
Why KSI is a separate celebrity DLC story
2K’s July 23, 2025 announcement for the Fearless Pack names the PRIME Bottle featuring KSI as that pack’s celebrity guest. The Fearless Pack is separate from New Wave and Dunk & Destruction. Its announcement does not establish that KSI is the guest promised for New Wave. 2K’s Fearless Pack announcement gives the pack’s named guest.

How to check whether you have access to the DLC
Access depends on what you bought. 2K said the DLC packs were available individually or through the Season Pass, and that the pass was included with specified editions. Do not assume the Standard Edition includes every DLC character; check the exact edition and platform against 2K’s DLC roadmap and access details and 2K’s edition information. Store listings and edition contents can vary by platform, region, and date.
