Digital Extremes has not announced a future return date in the cited sources.
How to get Hemocyte Cystolith
Join Operation: Plague Star while it is active and defeat Hemocytes during the event bounty. In its 2025 event post, Digital Extremes stated that each eliminated Hemocyte grants one Hemocyte Cystolith: official 2025 event details.
Plague Star is a limited-time event, not a permanent farming activity. The latest announced run was available on all platforms through September 23, 2026, at 10:00 ET, according to Digital Extremes’ 2026 announcement. That date has passed; no later return date is stated in the cited sources.
Which Plague Star bounty should you choose?
The 2026 announcement listed three bounty tiers. The figures below are for that event run; they are not a guarantee for a future rerun.

- Articulated 10-inch scale deluxe figure
- Figure includes alternate helmet less head and features a detailed cloth cape
- Figure comes with a 9-inch Relic axel and jolder's hammer machine gun
- Figure is featured in Destiny themed window box packaging
| Bounty tier | Prerequisites | Base Operational Supply Standing | Standing bonus |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | None stated | 1,025 | 25 |
| Advanced | One Eidolon Phylaxis and one Infested Catalyst | 3,200 | 75 |
| Steel Path | One Eidolon Phylaxis, one Infested Catalyst, and Steel Path eligibility | 3,800 | 100 |
For Advanced and Steel Path, the 2026 event announcement specifies the consumables and eligibility. The 2025 event details say the Eidolon Phylaxis blueprint is available from Nakak in Cetus and the Infested Catalyst blueprint comes from Clan Dojo Bio Lab research. Check the current event bounty description when Plague Star returns, since requirements and rewards can change.
There is no universally best tier: consider whether you can access the tier and supply its consumables, and whether your goal is Operational Supply Standing as well as Cystoliths. The listed standing and bonuses are historical 2026 event figures, not a promise about a future run.

How to use Cystoliths for Clan Dojo trophies
Cystoliths contribute to building Plague Star event trophies in a Clan Dojo. The 2025 Digital Extremes event post lists the following costs by trophy and clan tier. Larger clan tiers multiply the Ghost-clan cost.
| Trophy | Ghost (×1) | Shadow (×3) | Storm (×10) | Mountain (×30) | Moon (×100) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Terracotta | 10 | 30 | 100 | 300 | 1,000 |
| Bronze | 25 | 75 | 250 | 750 | 2,500 |
| Silver | 50 | 150 | 500 | 1,500 | 5,000 |
| Gold | 100 | 300 | 1,000 | 3,000 | 10,000 |
For example, a Moon clan needs 10,000 Cystoliths for the Gold trophy. These requirements come from the 2025 event post; check the Dojo trophy requirements during a later run in case Digital Extremes changes them.
