The Aniverse is a proposed event bringing creative industries, entertainment technology and fandom together. Its official website has not announced a date, venue, final programme or speakers, so the activities described there are ideas rather than confirmed attractions.
What is The Aniverse?
The Aniverse presents itself as an event ecosystem spanning animation, visual effects, gaming and extended reality (XR), alongside anime and fan culture. Its official site describes the concept as “Where AVGC XR Comes Together” and says it aims to bring creators, studios, technology innovators, gamers, anime fans, artists, developers, brands and industry leaders together.
The stated scope includes animation, anime, manga, visual effects, gaming, comics, cosplay, XR, AI and creative technology, digital art, and immersive experiences. The anime-focused ideas include manga and comics, cosplay, anime gaming, character art and fan community. These descriptions establish the event’s intended range, not the presence of particular guests, licensed properties, activities or merchandise.
What might be part of the event?
The site names possible experience zones such as a cosplay arena, anime stage, manga market, artist alley, anime gaming zone, fan meetups, character showcase, anime merchandise and photo experiences. It says: “Proposed experience zones are configurable and will be confirmed as the programme develops.”
