What Are All the Secret Codes in Kirby and the Forgotten Land? Full Present Code List (October 2026)

The secret codes in Kirby and the Forgotten Land are officially called Present Codes. You enter them at the Waddle Dee-liveries in Waddle Dee Town to receive items such as Star Coins, Rare Stones and food. As of October 8, 2026, the permanent codes below are the ones listed with no expiry date. Every temporary promotional code from September 2026 has passed its deadline, so do not try them as active.

How to redeem a Present Code

1. Unlock the Waddle Dee-liveries. Nintendo Life’s code guide says you must save 50 Waddle Dees to unlock the location.
2. Go online. Nintendo Australia’s announcement says internet access is required to receive Present Code items.
3. Enter the code in Waddle Dee Town. Go to the Waddle Dee-liveries and enter the code exactly as it appears in the tables below.
4. Claim items before changing versions. Nintendo advises collecting your items before you switch between game versions, so you do not lose them.

The rules that decide whether a code works

• One redemption per save file. Nintendo’s September 1, 2025 announcement states: “Present Codes can only be redeemed once per save data file and in one version of the game only.”
• Starry Coins are version-specific. Nintendo says Starry Coins are only received in the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition.
• Promotional codes expire. Limited-time codes stop being redeemable after their listed deadline.

Permanent codes in the original game

The following codes are listed with no expiry date in Nintendo Life’s code list. Reward bundles are shown as that guide reports them. The Japanese discovery-mail code is spelled as shown in that table; some other roundups spell it differently, so copy it character by character from the table.

Star-Crossed World codes (Switch 2 Edition)

These codes apply to the Star-Crossed World content in the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition. Nintendo’s 2025 announcement names STARCROSSEDWORLD as a Present Code for this release, while Nintendo Life’s table lists STARRYSEARCH. Keep the two entries separate rather than treating them as one code.

Expired September 2026 promotional codes

A Nintendo Everything roundup dated September 7, 2026 listed these Japanese-language promotional codes as active when it was published. Each deadline has since passed, so none of them can be redeemed as of October 8, 2026.

Older codes that have expired

The following codes appear in the historical section of Nintendo Life’s list. Their listed expiry dates have passed, so they are shown for reference only.

If a code is rejected

• Check for a typo. Retype the code from the tables above, paying attention to the Japanese entries, which are the easiest to mistype.
• Check whether the save file has already redeemed it. Each code works once per save file.
• Check your edition. Starry Coin rewards only appear in the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition.
• Check the deadline. Any code listed in the promotional table above is no longer valid.

The codes on this page are the ones published by the guides linked above. They are reported codes; they are not individually confirmed in-game by this article.
