Spoilers for the final mission and post-credits scene: Yuna survives Ghost of Tsushima. After the credits, Jin returns to his refuge, where Yuna is available to talk. The game does not reveal what happens to her beyond that point.
Where Yuna is after the ending
Once Jin’s final confrontation with Lord Shimura is over and the credits have rolled, Jin returns to his refuge. Yuna is there, and the player can speak with her. GamePressure’s final-mission walkthrough records this post-credits scene.

That establishes that Yuna is alive at the end of the main story. It does not establish where she goes afterward, whether she leaves Tsushima, or whether she and Jin share a future.
Does the choice about Lord Shimura change Yuna’s fate?
No. In “The Tale of Lord Shimura,” Jin chooses whether to kill or spare his uncle. The decision changes Shimura’s outcome; after either choice, Yuna remains available at Jin’s refuge for a conversation, according to the walkthrough.

The choice is distinct from how the player has fought throughout the game. In a PlayStation Blog Q&A, Sucker Punch creative director Nate Fox said the game has no karma system and tells one story about Jin fighting for Tsushima’s people. Combat style does not trigger a Ghost-versus-samurai morality ending. That does not remove the specific final choice about Shimura.
Does Jin end up with Yuna?
The game does not confirm a romantic relationship or a shared future between them. Yuna’s post-credits appearance confirms that she is alive and still in Jin’s orbit at that moment; anything beyond that is speculation rather than established story.

Does Ghost of Yōtei make one ending canon?
No. In a 2025 interview reported by GamesRadar+, Ghost of Yōtei co-director Nate Fox said, “It’s 300 years-plus later. Both endings are valid.” The comment means neither choice about Shimura is designated as the required ending for the sequel. It does not provide any new information about Yuna’s later life.
