Lootapalooza Week was the final week of Destiny 2’s Rite of the Nine dungeon event, held July 8–15, 2025. Bungie used it to boost rewards in all three Rite of the Nine dungeons: Ghosts of the Deep, Prophecy, and Spire of the Watcher. The event has ended, so the dates below are historical and do not describe a current or upcoming schedule.
When the event ran
Bungie’s own schedule put Lootapalooza Week in the seven days from July 8 to July 15, 2025. A May 22, 2025 installment of Bungie’s “This Week In Destiny” placed that week immediately before the July 15 launch of Destiny 2’s Edge of Fate expansion, so it served as the closing stretch of Rite of the Nine before the new content arrived. Bungie’s May 15, 2025 post, titled “This Week In Destiny – 05/15/2025,” is the original announcement of the window and the bonus structure.

Which dungeons were included
All three Rite of the Nine dungeons received the same headline bonuses. Bungie’s announcement said these were “all rewards bonuses,” which the later June 12, 2025 update translated into specific categories. The table below shows what each source actually established for each dungeon.

Because the sources describe the bonuses at the level of the whole event, they do not say how much any single dungeon paid out relative to the others.

What the bonuses covered
Currency rewards
Bungie announced increased currency rewards in all three dungeons for the July 8–15 window. The announcement did not publish the amounts, so no before-and-after figures are available.
Enemy weapon drops
Enemies in all three dungeons had increased weapon drops during the same week. As with currency, Bungie did not publish drop rates or odds for this bonus.

Final-boss chest loot
Bungie’s June 12, 2025 update added increased loot from the final boss chest. The bonus applied only when players completed all dungeon encounters, not when they simply reached the final boss.
Daily Nonary Engram login reward
From July 8 through July 15, players could claim one additional Nonary Engram per day for signing in, according to the June 12, 2025 update.

Nonary Engrams and the new Manifold spending option
Bungie’s May 15 announcement paired the event with a new way to spend Nonary Manifolds, the event currency. The June 12 update specified how that worked:
- Price: 350 Nonary Manifolds per Nonary Engram, purchased from The Emissary.
- Limit: up to 20 Nonary Engrams during Rite of the Nine, according to Bungie’s stated event limit.
- Login bonus: one extra Nonary Engram per day, July 8–15, 2025, claimed by signing in.
These are the in-game terms Bungie published for that event, not measured figures about how players used them.

Official wording
Bungie’s May 15, 2025 announcement, posted by the Destiny 2 Community Team, read: “On July 8, a ‘lootapalooza’ will begin; all three dungeons will have all rewards bonuses enabled for the final week of Episode Heresy alongside a new way to spend your Nonary Manifold currency.” No individual speaker is named in the post.
What the sources do not establish
- Drop rates, odds, or dungeon-by-dungeon reward comparisons for the weapon and chest bonuses.
- Currency amounts awarded during the event.
- Any player count, survey, or other independent statistic about how many players took part or what they earned.
Any claim about typical player results from Lootapalooza would go beyond what Bungie published.
