Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesThere is no single best weapon for every fight or build. A strong general shortlist is Lanceram for Gustave, Trebuchim for Lune, Medalum early for Maelle before choosing Jarum or Lithum for a later build, Charnon for damage-focused Sciel, Lanceram as a flexible Verso option, and Ballaro for support Monoco. Treat these as build recommendations, not an official ranking: upgrades, scaling, passives, enemy weaknesses, and party role can change the right pick.
Best weapon for each character at a glance
| Character | Practical pick | Best fit | Alternative or caveat |
|---|---|---|---|
| Gustave | Lanceram | General use and an Overcharge-focused setup | Swap to exploit an enemy weakness; weapon level and build affect the comparison. |
| Lune | Trebuchim | Generating Stains with Free Aim for Stain-dependent abilities | Snowim for sustain; Esquim or another setup-specific option for late-game offense. |
| Maelle | Medalum early; Jarum or Lithum later | Medalum starts her in Virtuose; Jarum suits Burn play, while Lithum supports Mark synergy. | Esquium is proposed for one endgame damage build; it is not established as a universal winner. |
| Sciel | Charnon | Damage during Twilight | Tisseron favors extra turns and Twilight uptime. |
| Verso | Lanceram | Flexible general use | Dualiso supports a double-turn approach; Sireso redirects Rank toward team amplification. |
| Monoco | Ballaro | Support through AP generation for allies | For damage, choose around unlocked transformations and the role you want him to fill. |
The game is described by its official character page as a turn-based RPG with real-time mechanics. The recommendations below come from weapon and build guides, not a developer-published best-in-slot list. The weapon guides were updated or reviewed on 2025-12-15; the build guide was updated 2026-09-01 and says it checked game version 1.5.6 on 2026-08-31. Since weapon tuning can change, treat the build-specific advice as version-sensitive.

How to decide whether a weapon is actually better
Do not compare weapons by name or base level alone. The weapon system guide notes that upgrades matter, while scaling and passives can change how a weapon performs in a particular build.
- Upgrade investment: Compare weapons at their current upgrade levels, and account for the resources required to improve the one you plan to use.
- Attribute scaling: A weapon can change which attributes contribute most effectively, so reconsider attribute investment when switching.
- Passive milestones: Passives may define the combat loop, such as entering a stance, generating Stains, supporting Twilight actions, or granting AP to allies.
- Element and matchup: An elemental weapon may be more useful against an enemy weakness than a general-purpose pick.
- Role and party synergy: Choose for the job the character needs to do—damage, setup, sustain, AP support, or ally amplification.
- Execution: A build that relies on counters, parries, Free Aim, or a narrow resource pattern is only a good fit if you can use that loop comfortably in the encounter.
The weapon recommendation guide offers a practical shortlist; the later character build guide shows why the answer can shift with a character’s setup.

Gustave: Lanceram for an Overcharge-focused setup
Lanceram is a practical all-rounder for Gustave, and it supports an Overcharge loop in the build guide. Build Charges with multi-hit skills, use Marking Shot to prepare a target when useful, then spend a full meter on Overcharge. Do not hold the meter indefinitely when spending it can advance the fight. Against a specific boss, an elemental swap may be more valuable than staying with Lanceram.
Lune: Trebuchim for Stain generation
Trebuchim lets Lune generate Stains through Free Aim, supporting abilities that depend on Stains. It appears in an Elemental Mayhem setup, but Lune’s weapon choice should follow the party’s needs: Snowim is a sustain option, while Esquim is identified as a late-game damage choice. Healing skills can also take priority when the group needs recovery.

Maelle: Medalum early, then choose by synergy
Medalum is useful early because it starts Maelle in Virtuose Stance. For a later setup, choose according to the build rather than treating one weapon as universally best:
Recommended Free Tools
- Jarum: Fits Burn stacking and counterattack-based access to stance.
- Lithum: Fits a party plan built around Mark support.
- Esquium: A 2026 build guide proposes it for an endgame damage setup, but that recommendation does not establish a winner across all builds.
Sciel: Charnon for Twilight damage, Tisseron for uptime
Charnon is the damage-focused choice: the weapon guide reports interactions between Twilight critical hits, Sealed Fate, and Foretell. Tisseron offers a different priority, granting an extra turn when Sciel enters Twilight and supporting more Twilight uptime. Choose between stronger damage during the window and a smoother or more frequent Twilight cycle.
Rank #3
- Engaging Storyline: Dive into a rich, narrative-driven adventure with unexpected twists.
- Complex Puzzles: Test your problem-solving skills with challenging puzzles.
- Immersive World: Explore a visually stunning alien planet with breathtaking details and treacherous terrain.
Verso: Lanceram is flexible; other picks specialize
Verso shares a weapon pool with Gustave according to the weapon-location guide, but his Perfection Rank makes the build context different. Lanceram is a flexible option, including for a reliable Rank C build in the later guide. Choose Dualiso for a double-turn approach to Rank progression, or Sireso when you want Rank to amplify allies instead.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Monoco: Ballaro for party support
Ballaro is the support-oriented recommendation because its reported milestone passives generate AP for other party members when Monoco uses upgraded skills. It is not established as the strongest damage weapon in every setup. For damage-focused Monoco, choose around the transformations you have unlocked and the role you want him to fill.
