The code Electronic Arts documents for locked career reward items in Build/Buy mode is bb.ignoregameplayunlocksentitlement. It unlocks career rewards in the Build/Buy catalog, and nothing beyond that. If you meant hidden objects or building on a locked lot, those are separate codes, covered below.
The career reward code
EA’s cheats FAQ gives the instruction in its own words: for this building cheat, go into Build mode, open the cheat dialogue box, and type bb.ignoregameplayunlocksentitlement. The FAQ also describes the effect as unlocking all career rewards in Buy mode. That is the scope of the code: career-reward items in the catalog.

How to enter it on each platform
PC or Mac
- Start or load a save and enter the game.
- Press Ctrl + Shift + C to open the cheat dialogue.
- Type
bb.ignoregameplayunlocksentitlementand press Enter.
Build/Buy cheats can be entered from Live mode or Build mode, but EA states they must be used while you are in Build mode. If you type the code and nothing changes, switch to Build mode and check the catalog again.
PlayStation or Xbox
- While in game, press all four shoulder buttons together to open the cheat console.
- Enter
testingcheats true. This is the first step in the sequence EA’s careers help article gives for unlocking rewards. - Enter
bb.ignoregameplayunlocksentitlement.
EA’s FAQ lists the Build/Buy cheats separately from the testing-cheat step and does not spell out the same sequence, so follow the careers article’s order if the code does not register.

The achievement warning on console
EA says that on console, cheats that require testingcheats true disable achievements on the save where they are used. Other saves are not affected. The FAQ also describes Build mode cheats as “fair game” in the context of that warning. EA’s two pages do not frame activation for this particular code identically, so do not assume a console save will keep its achievements after you enable it. If achievements matter to you, use the cheat on a separate save.
What “unlock everything” can actually mean
Each Build/Buy cheat does one narrow job. Pick the one that matches what you are trying to do.

Which code to use
- You want a career reward object you have not been able to buy: use
bb.ignoregameplayunlocksentitlement. - You remember an object that has disappeared from the catalog, possibly from an event: use
bb.showhiddenobjects. - You want to build on a lot you cannot currently enter for construction: use
bb.enablefreebuild. - Objects will not snap or place where you want: use
bb.moveobjects.
None of these codes is a general unlock. If the item you want is not in the Build/Buy catalog, these cheats will not produce it.

Checking that it worked
- Open Build mode, then the Buy catalog, and look in the career reward category for items that were previously missing.
- If nothing appears, confirm you are in Build mode and that the cheat dialogue accepted the text. Retype the code exactly, since the spelling must match.
Keep the spelling exact. Each code is case-sensitive in the sense that the dialogue will not accept a misspelled name.
