If you mean main-story play time, a community tracker estimates the Song of the Welkin Moon Archon Quest at about 35 hours 33 minutes across 11 acts. That is a player-maintained estimate, not an official duration or a direct comparison with every World Quest series.
What “longest” can mean
There is no single settled answer because quest length can be measured in different ways: the number of named quests, the number of required linked quests, or the time a player spends completing them. A count also changes depending on whether it includes prerequisites, optional branches, follow-up quests, and content outside a series’ in-game label. Available guides do not provide a standardized ranking of every current Genshin Impact quest series using one consistent measure.

Why Aranyaka is a strong World Quest contender
Aranyaka is a multi-part World Quest series set in Sumeru. GameWith’s guide groups its core parts as Woodland Encounter, Dream Nursery, Nursery of Lost Dreams, and In the End, the Forest Will Remember. The guide also notes that completing the full line involves quests beyond those named core parts, so the series is more than a short, linear chain.
Its structure branches
Dream Nursery connects to several substantial subchains, including The Unwavering Culinary Dream, Agnihotra Sutra, Vimana Agama, and Varuna Gatha. Some numbered, lettered quests can be completed in any order, so players may experience the middle of the series differently rather than following one strict sequence.

Why a single quest count can mislead
A total depends on what is counted: the named Aranyaka parts, prerequisite quests, parallel branches, later follow-ups, or associated quests that sit outside the core series. GameWith’s guide describes the structure and requirements, but that does not create a universal count that can be compared cleanly with every other chain.

How the Song of the Welkin Moon compares
For readers who mean total main-story completion time, a community-maintained project by FichteFoll and contributors currently lists the Song of the Welkin Moon Archon Quest as 11 acts and about 35 hours 33 minutes. This figure is the project’s estimate, not a HoYoverse-published play-time statistic. It measures a different scope from Aranyaka, and it does not prove that the Archon Quest is longer than every World Quest series under every possible counting method.

Newer World Quest series make a fixed ranking harder
World Quest series continue to arrive with new regions. Version 7.0 HoYoLAB guides estimate Her Palace Collapses Into the Blizzard at about 25 minutes and On One Side a Palace, on the Other a Tomb at about 1.5 hours. These are guide estimates, not universal completion times, and they do not establish either series as the longest. They do illustrate why a meaningful ranking needs a consistent scope and timing method.

Keeping track of Aranara progress
Aranyaka’s many linked objectives can make it difficult to remember which Aranara locations you have already checked. HoYoverse Help Center recommends using an external map resource and placing in-game map pins to mark locations you have found. This turns a sprawling search into a trackable checklist instead of repeated backtracking.
