There is no complete, version-independent species list established for Pokémon Brick Bronze. To check a specific Pokémon, open Bag → TMs/HMs, select HM1 Cut, and look for its compatibility label: Able means it can learn Cut; Unable means it cannot. The walkthrough suggests Zigzagoon and Sentret as early HM users, but those examples are not a complete Cut roster.
How to check whether your Pokémon can learn Cut
- Open your Bag and choose TMs/HMs.
- Select HM1 Cut.
- Check the label beside the Pokémon you are considering. Able indicates compatibility; Unable indicates it cannot learn Cut in that game version.
This in-game check is the most useful answer for a particular Pokémon, especially because versions and reuploads may not share the same compatibility rules.

Which Pokémon are suggested as early HM users?
The walkthrough names Zigzagoon and Sentret as Pokémon suggested for learning HMs early in the game. It does not establish that these are the only Cut-compatible species—or provide a complete Cut-specific list. Check the HM1 Cut label in your version before choosing one.
Where to get Cut and when you can use it
A lumberjack on Route 4 gives you HM1 Cut. You can teach the move before defeating the Silvent Gym, but you need the Arc Badge to use Cut outside battle to clear the small tree blocking progress.

What to consider before teaching Cut
Cut occupies one of the Pokémon’s move slots. HMs ordinarily cannot be forgotten through the usual move-management process, so consider whether you want it on a Pokémon central to your battle team. If you later want to remove it, the Move Deleter at Colosseum Marketplace can remove unwanted HM moves.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Does this apply to every Brick Bronze version?
Not necessarily. The original Roblox game was removed, and a current availability listing reports that one 2026 reupload was deleted shortly after launch. That report does not establish the status of every similarly named game or private server. Older instructions may not apply to a later version; use that version’s own Able/Unable label to check compatibility.
